I purchased this for my 9 year old son who’s newly obsessed with ramen + Japanese culture! It’s a Christmas gift so you can assume I browsed near and far to find gifts that checked most of his boxes, one of which being his OWN first special ramen bowl! Our main selling points were the design (red and black - his favorite colors) along with the cool features of the added steam hole, handle, sleek silicone (I believe) material for the bowl + lid but with that - THE BRILLIANT IDEA OF INCLUDING A LID?!? Love. (My sons eyes are bigger than his ACTUAL appetite, why does he INSIST on making several packs at once lol) BUT honesty, it was even better in person. I ordered this 2 days ago, it already arrived today. The packaging was clean, well taken care of and made present wrapping as easy as it could’ve been. Added bonus(s)? They included the CUTEST little “thanks for supporting our small business!” Sticker on the outer layer/plastic AND I don’t know if I didn’t read what it includes or was just not paying attention but they also added in these REALLY cool metal (I think?) chopsticks that you can screw/twist together + a broth spoon so either way that was a FANTASTIC surprise that not only saved me money I was ABOUT to spend but it also eliminated future headaches of snapped wooden chopsticks (be kind - he’s 9 and teaching himself how to use them lol) Sorry for the worlds longest review but this gift was really important to me because I KNOW it’s gonna make my little boy smile and that alone earns infinite positive reviews and 5 stars. Between the affordable price, insanely fast delivery, QUALITY of not only the product itself but the packaging - it was 10x better in person and worth EVERY penny. I was looking for a bowl for Nongshim Shin round 4.58 Ounce Ramyun. This had good reviews so I ordered it. The bowl lived up to its reputation. The bowl was plenty large enough for the round noodles with room to spare. It also appears sturdy and well made. The noodles were well cooked at the suggested 7 minutes in a 900 watt microwave. This was with the top on. I'm not sure I will continue to microwave with the top on since I've had dishes with these types of seals that degraded rapidly when microwaved. Negatives were few. I ordered the bowls which appear to be blueish green in the pictures but misleadingly have pink in their descrription. This appears to be a factory mistake since the bowls matched the pictures though the printing on them said pink.. This isn't too bad a color but none of the bowls really made me swoon over the colors. The bowls also scratched easily when I used a fork. Since I bought these bowls to eat ramyun, not stare at, I'm satisfied with this. These bowls are big though. Not tested: While the lid appears to seal tightly, I didn't test it to see if it was leak proof. I don't really have a need for this since I'm using them for ramyun, not carrying soup around. I don't think I'd use them for soup due to their size. There are much smaller containers better suited to carrying soup. Read more

Beautiful colors, we got the red and black one and lavender one. These bowls don't disappoint. They're heavy duty but lightweight at the same time. The chopsticks are a cool idea but we think they're too slippery to use, not enough grip. And I think if they're going to be included, adding a lip on the bottom of the bowl with chopsticks/spork storage underneath would be a better design idea since we hand wash these. The grooves under the lid to hold them make it a little inconvenient to wash around, but not impossible. Honestly, we took the spork and chopsticks out and put em in our silverware drawer. But the bowl speaks for itself, it's pretty awesome. It holds 2 regular packs of ramen or one XL pack. What we use them for is one XL pack, one 16 oz bottle of water, some chili crisp, extra veggies or toppings, secure the lid on, unplug the vent at the top and turn the plug to the side to ensure the vent hole is clear. Microwave 7 minutes (we have a 1250 watt micro) and that's it, fully done and perfect every time with zero boil over or mess. But we just literally throw everything in the bowl, we put the lid on, vent it, nuke it, done. So simple. No plastic smells/tastes or anything with how hot the inside gets and we've had zero spillage/over boils. The seal is great, after many uses and washes everything looks brand new. The handle doesn't get warm enough to where you can't pick it up right away either. You can also drain some of the broth/water really easily through the drain hole at the top, if needed. The seal comes out to wash separately which is cool. For leftovers to pop in the fridge, tighten the lid and plug the seal. Zero smell comes from it, which is nice at home, in a lunchbox, or in a work fridge. Zero warping or color fading, and we've used ours many times already.
