These AI smart glasses are incredibly impressive and easy to use. I’ve been using them to record POV TikTok videos, and they work extremely well for that. The footage is clear and natural-looking, and being hands-free makes filming effortless and much more immersive compared to holding a phone. The voice control is smooth and responsive, which is great when recording on the go. Bluetooth calling works well, and the glasses are comfortable enough to wear for long periods. UPDATED REVIEW: Video recording is much better than expected. My friend has the META glasses, and I really cannot tell the difference between the video qualities. Likewise the speakers are very good. Controls are easy to use, as is the phone app. Like, the Ray-Ban Meta glasses a light shines during video recording (presumably to prevent clandestine recording), but unlike Meta there is an easy fix, simply cover the light with a small round piece of duct tape or similar cover. Covering the light does not impact recording. I originally had an issue with the mic, but Booabei customer service were awesome in helping me to resolve it to my satisfaction (it was primarily my error). Good overall buy, but the Hey Cyan wake feature rarely works and the AI assistant is not always working, limited with its responses but not bad. Great for calls and audio, decent for music... not sure the photochromatic lenses do anything, not sure the blue light lenses do anything. The glasses are very good but the Ai portion is inferior. My husband has low vision which requires help with reading. The Ai assistant will not read an entire page - it simply describes what it's looking at. Gemini is much better for reading an article or restaurant menu. However, a very nice feature is the additional set of lenses included which pop in and out with ease so these glasses can be used indoors as well as outdoors. I was really excited about these AI smart glasses because I specifically bought them to take photos and videos hands-free. Unfortunately, they didn’t work the way I planned at all. The camera controls were very difficult to figure out, and even after I finally understood how they worked, the glasses weren’t actually taking photos or videos at the exact moment I needed them to. There was a noticeable delay or inconsistency, which completely defeated the purpose for me and was honestly pretty disappointing. Because the main feature I wanted didn’t work reliably, I ended up putting them away and planning to return them. To make things worse, while I was on my phone trying to record a TikTok, I couldn’t hear any sound and couldn’t figure out why. It turned out the glasses were automatically connecting via Bluetooth, even though I wasn’t actively using them. While that feature might be “cool” for some people, it just added to my frustration and made me like them even less. Overall, if you’re buying these primarily for photo and video capture, I wouldn’t recommend them. Glasses are okay. The fit is nice, good material. However, they are quite loud. Both taking pictures and music are loud, other people around would hear them even at low volume. If this is not a problem, they are a good product otherwise, especially for the price. Read more
