I am a winter rider. This helps keep me warm on my motorcycle during my winter travels days. Riden in temps as low as 8°F and I do not have heated gear. I have a small head so this slips over nicely and feels very nice and soft on my skin. It's thick so it basically stands up by itself and does a good job of keeping the wind out. Well made, except for the cord lock which is not strong enough to tighten the cord. If this is important to you, you'll need to remove the cord lock they have used and replace it with a much more heavy duty cord lock to get the job done. Since I need to cinch it tighter around the nose area, it's important to be able to have that device work properly.
