Nice air purifier. Very quiet, I can hardly tell it's running. I like the feature of the different colored lights. Haven't tested it with essential oils yet. It definitely works because there have been a few times our kitchen has gotten smoky from cooking and it immediately switches to show that our air quality isn't good. It quickly clears it up. I've only had it for a day but it's already made all the difference for my mom!!! Her cat allergies suddenly got a lot more intense over the past year, which hasn't gone well with our three pet cats and two bedroom apartmenr. Every night I can hear her coughing and hacking over the dander, and allergy medicine, washing her bedding, and even steam cleaning the carpet haven't been any help. I bought this hoping that it would at least pull some of the dander out of the air, and was planning to return it if we didn't notice any difference. But no need! When it came, I immediately set it up in her room, closed the door, let it run on turbo for 15 minutes, and then set it to auto for the rest of the afternoon (and I immediately noticed the crisp and clean smell of the air!). My mom came home and went straight to her room, and I've been listening the past few hours to see if she has another coughing fit. Lo and behold, she hasn't so much as sneezed!!
