Nice air purifier. Very quiet, I can hardly tell it's running. I like the feature of the different colored lights. Haven't tested it with essential oils yet. It definitely works because there have been a few times our kitchen has gotten smoky from cooking and it immediately switches to show that our air quality isn't good. It quickly clears it up. I've only had it for a day but it's already made all the difference for my mom!!! Her cat allergies suddenly got a lot more intense over the past year, which hasn't gone well with our three pet cats and two bedroom apartmenr. Every night I can hear her coughing and hacking over the dander, and allergy medicine, washing her bedding, and even steam cleaning the carpet haven't been any help. I bought this hoping that it would at least pull some of the dander out of the air, and was planning to return it if we didn't notice any difference. But no need! When it came, I immediately set it up in her room, closed the door, let it run on turbo for 15 minutes, and then set it to auto for the rest of the afternoon (and I immediately noticed the crisp and clean smell of the air!). My mom came home and went straight to her room, and I've been listening the past few hours to see if she has another coughing fit. Lo and behold, she hasn't so much as sneezed!! Seems like it’s working, but whoever designed the BRIGHT BLUE LIGHT that cannot be turned off has seriously lost the plot. What are they thinking??- I guess they’re not! I just wanted a purifier, I don’t want to put smelly aroma chemicals into it 🤢, and I didn’t want it lighting up and changing colors 🤦‍♀️. At least one can turn off that ridiculous option; although they’ve made it so the “romantic” lights automatically turn on and one must turn them off which is backwards. That should be an option to turn on, not to have to turn off. The bright blue light on the front of the unit however, is extremely annoying and supposedly tells one the condition of the room air. I highly doubt that it does that, and why would I need one of these units if - according to the super BRIGHT blue annoying light- my air is already clean? If you want your whole room bright blue then this is for you. The designers could have thought this through a bit better, guessing they are very young without enough life experience to understand that people don’t necessarily want their whole room to glow blue like an alien spacecraft at night.
