This is AMAZING! It shows the level of the quality of air, when on auto, wil go higher/ lower depending on the air quality. I tried with smoke and it went way up to 150, and cleared the house out in minutes.. (normally stays at 1-15) I don't normally smoke in my house, but I wanted to see how it worked with smoke and other pollutants.. Very highly recommend getting this! Noise level is pretty much non existent, unless it's up very high even then it's like a very quiet fan. Great value for the price! Has timer can set from 1-12 hrs, diff speeds, and automatic. I love this thing!! Worked wonders! I was afraid my house would smell like pet odors and this air purifier works great! Upon reading other reviews, make sure you take out the filter as it is wrapped in plastic. It works well for our living room and is pretty quiet. When it ramps up to a higher purification, it gets louder but nothing horrible. It slows back down once it cleans the air too. This purifier is awesome! I’ve had it for months now and have not needed to change the filter yet. Guess I should mention that I live in the SoCal hills with a mountain behind my home that is full of dirt, so dust is an huge issue for us. Also, there are many trees around and several of our kiddos have allergies. This purifier has helped us breathe better and the value is great! The noise level is good on the lower settings. The higher setting sound like the average fan, not unbearable but audible to the point where we turn up the tv when on the higher settings. Also, it purifies the air quite well. I love the various speeds especially the sleep/nighttime one. The air that is output is nice and cool. The functionality is amazing. I recommend this one as compared to others of its type and price.
