I officiated a wedding in Mexico and was looking for something that would make me feel sexy, confident, and needed something that was light so I didn't sweat too much. This dress is all that and more! It's made from a light material but isn't thin or see through, it looks like other designer dresses I own that are made with a thicker, heavy material. It's a very comfortable material and fits my body like a glove and even without shapewear my plus size body (typically XL, 16 jeans) looks great in this dress. Its true to size and the color of the purple version is true to what I saw on my screen. It even zips up in the back like a classic dress, which prevent me from stretching the fabric so I think that's nice. My only complaint is that the sleeves are more scrunched and narrow than what was displayed in the images, but the video in the description is more of a true look. It's almost entirely polyester so it doesn't breathe at all, just something to keep in mind if you're trapped in this wicked southern summer heat like I am. Read more

A perfect dress for work or dates. I got the dress because my association regularly has purple themed events and I do not own enough purple dresses. This fit the bill perfectly. It is stylish and flattering. It is also modest enough for work events. The fabric is fitted but strectchy enough to move with me if (WHEN it is always WHEN) I have to be doing set up, take down, or fixing of things. I like the attention to detail: the neckline is sewn where it crosses over so there is no worry that it is going to shift and expose you in any way. I REALLY wanted to love this dress based on the photos; unfortunately, it did not produce the same effect in person. The fit was very unflattering on me, and though I followed the attached size chart, it did not fit. I am 5'7, 155 pounds and typically wear a size 10, and the size large dress was very unflattering. This dress is a beautiful, well-made piece. I purchased to wear to an upcoming September wedding, and am thoroughly delighted with it. Item has a very flattering fit, complimenting the female body. It’s subtly sexy, while yet looking very respectable, in fact, respectable enough for an upscale evening church wedding. The dress is comfortable to wear, and easy care as well. This dress is pretty and comfortable but definitely could be better. The fabric is flared and textured around the hips which I found made my hips look bigger and bulkier than I would have preferred. The other issue is the fabric itself. The material has almost no stretch and is rather scratchy and rough compared to most dresses I own. The color is beautiful and the concept was there but this is not flattering if you have any slight bit of belly fat or extra weight. Overall, not very thrilled with this.
