This keyboard with great sounding and feeling stock switches with the ability to swap for your favorite ones if you don't care for the stock switches. Love the retro look and functionality of the big button (also hot swappable too!) It's great quality and you get what you pay for! Read more

I loved this keyboard! Has a very long battery life and the Bluetooth functionality is great so far! The clicking is a bit loud but that’s something I love about this keyboard personally. Comes with charger and some stickers for the tiny pad. Only issue is the app is not compatible with mobile devices but opens up fine on PC! Read more

I'm typing this review using this new keyboard. Let's start with the travel and feel of the keys. I was using a Razor Huntsman for a few years before this. This keyboard is quick and responsive. It's on par with the Huntsman, I'd think the differences would be subjective. One noticeable thing is the space bar has a different sound than the rest of the keys. Not sure if this is to replicate nostalgia for the old C64 keyboard or if it's a coincidence. It's not a big deal, but might annoy some. Not having a keypad has it's pros and cons. I bought the accompanying keypad/calculator and it's great. I like having them separate but you don't have the classic Num Lock arrow keys, it's just a number pad. Back to the keyboard. It has Bluetooth, 2.4Ghz and works wired. I've synced it with my phone and used the 2.4ghz on the xbox and now it's 2.4 on my PC. It has a little cubby for the usb dongle with a magnet to store. The software allows profiles and customization of keys. It also has the Big super buttons and the joystick. I don't care much for these. I like the idea and I'm sure there are some great use cases, but the wires! There are four headphone jacks in the back. One wire for the super buttons, not too bad but not elegant by any means. Then the joystick has two wires. So the sleek wireless keyboard now has 3 wires poking out the back and strewn across the desk. Those went back in the box after no time. I can handle hitting Ctrl+C without a super button. I do with it had more - maybe I'm unaware - of the traditional C64 commands available. So if I'm running C64 games on emulation, I'll have easy access to the unique C64 Keys you don't find on modern keyboards. Not a big deal, but would be cool if it did. Would motivate me to try out some more old games. Old school volume know works great. My Hunstman's volume knob was not good at all, but time will tell. So as far as a new review, since a keyboard's durability over time is hard to test with a new item, we'll have to wait and see. I've bought many 8bitdo products and I have had one fail (SN30 Pro). One last thing. NO RGB!! :) My Huntsman light's were oppressive. If the software wasn't running, my desk was a carnival. Maybe that is something some people like, but I'd prefer the default settings to not be a bag of skittles on high beams. PC Would reboot and in the middle of the night I'd wake up to blaring RGB lights that I had set to dim. So this keyboard rocks because it's like a gaming keyboard but not obnoxiously lit up. Thanks for ready my review. Read more

I just received my package. Seems like it works fine so far, no issues and looks great. When I received my package however, it looked like the knob to turn bluetooth on had been activated, so the keyboard was likely on the entire time it was shipping. Again, not a major issue, but I just wanted to bring some awareness to my experience here. Read more

I really wanted to love this product, but it was a lot larger than I thought it would be. The calculator feature seemed like a nice feature, but I didn't find myself reaching for it over using my phone or the computer calculator. Read more
