Problems with Set Screws
I almost sent this item back. There was no way that I could screw the set screws in that hold the shelf in place. I was able to get 2 or 3 turns on my screwdriver, but then there was no way I could budge the screws to get them to seat far enough to hold the glass in place. I even tried to drive them with my power drill but even it could not budge the screws. Finally just before I boxed it up to return it, I got an idea to try to insert a stainless steel bolt into the threaded hole. I ran the bolt in and out several times and was able to loosen it up enough so that I could screw the set screws in place. I am just waiting for the glue to dry. The product looks good, but the machining of the hole for the set screw was very sloppy. Read more
