I use this table as my dining room table for my large family of 8. It's a bit of a squeeze for all of us but it does seat us all so I'm not complaining. The height is perfect for a table. It's surprisingly sturdy for being a large picnic table and I couldn't be happier about that. There is a texture to the tabletop but it's easily cleaned and mulitple times a day. Perfect round table for holiday dinners. I purchased two. They were delivered in excellent condition and set up quickly. They are very sturdy and made of a kind of hard plastic. The tables sit 8 people quite comfortably. You can seat one or two more people, but this will cause the extras to sit with table legs in their way. I am really happy that I chose these tables.
