This dress checked all the boxes. Looking for a size 18 for a 56 yr old mother of the groom dress that wasn't matronly or full of seqiuns was tough. The striking navy blue, v-neck, and high-low sheer lively ruffled bottom made this a hands down winner. The cut of the dress added a flattering feminine waistline which I need for my lower natural waist. The lightweight jacket covers my arms and adds more figure flattering detail. I took it to alterations biz and her first opinion was 'it fit like a glove.' She did decide to pull up the shoulder straps about an inch which helped it fit even better. I wore this dress to my oldest son's wedding and received many, many compliments. My favorite? "That's not a dress, that's a statement." The wedding was outdoors in Florida (in AUGUST!) and I was still very comfortable. I loved that I could slide the jacket off my shoulders if I felt warm. It was also very comfortable to dance in. This dress, although I needed to hem, it, was a dream to wear. It was extremely comfortable, flattering and elegant. The one thing that I found very aggravating, was the neckline. The lining was not tacked down and kept on showing at the neck, and it was bright white. I had to keep on tucking and pulling it down, and that was very annoying and considering the price I thought it was an unacceptable detail that should have been noticed and addressed. This dress is just beautiful, lovely material and very stylish. However, it is very long and not really amenable to shortening as it would ruin the look and style. I am above average height and it hangs onto the floor on me. I like it so much I am wearing it as is. The jacket is lightweight and sheer. Whole look very pretty. Read more

Ordered this dress for a Mother of the Groom. I LOVED it and it was very flattering. I am 5'2" and was so excited that the length was perfect.......Until I showed the bride and the color won't work with the wedding party colors.... There isn't a Wisteria or Orchid color available or I would be wearing this Dress. Loved that there are no zippers to deal with-just slips on and the material was soft. Read more

Size was small. I’d recommend upsizing one size. The dress was more fitted than I’d like and that wasn’t really depicted in the photo or really depicted in the photo or description. I’m a little too short for the stress but it is a gorgeous color! Just beautiful and lightweight! I wish it was a little shorter and I don’t have time to have it hemmed for my sons wedding. It’s flowing and not too flashy but looks like it can be worn after a wedding to other events, so not a one time dress. I wish you had been short enough for me because it’s gorgeous. Read more
