I love Alfred Dunner ALLURE style pants! They are pull-on pants with a no-show elastic waistband. Don’t be confused with Alfred Dunner’s Classic style which is also pull-on but has a visible elastic waistband. ALLURE has a smooth waistband appearance, and unless someone is familiar with this style, they would never know ALLURE style has an elastic waistband feature. I have several pairs of these pants in all colors offered, including denim. They are all I wear as dress/work/casual pants. They are comfortable, fit me perfectly, and can be dressed up or down depending on your chosen top and shoe selection. If you’re looking for something that works for most occasions, you really ought to try a pair. They aren’t cheaply priced, nor cheaply made. I buy them on sale, usually at half price. Read more

These pants are NOT what I expected! After trying on the exact item at JC Penneys in a Regular length (they did not carry in Petite), for sizing, I ordered them off Amazon. I wanted dress slacks, what I received were glorified jeans! Nowhere in the description did it mention denim. I ordered the item from Penneys and received dress slacks! I already wore the Amazon product so I can't return them. Looking at the "fabric type" description I now realize the "78% cotton" is a tip the item is more of a jean than dress slack. What a big disappointment! I have been wearing Alfred Dunner slacks for over 40 years. The sizing has always been consistent. No way these jeans are "super stretch" and the size is not at all comparable to the size 8P that I am wearing. I could not even get them on. The quality of the jeans appears to be good but the jeans are useless if they don't fit. They undermine my confidence in Alfred Dunner. Read more
