Waist Size Inconsistent

I have 6 pairs of these pants in different colors. The waist size is inconsistent. Half fit just right and half are a bit big. I will have to take them in at least an inch. All of the ones I ordered from Amazon are labeled size 8 Proportionally Medium, which is 30" in length. The actual measurement is not in the product description. That information would be helpful as the "Proportionally Short" is 28" in length, which I purchased in store at JCPenney. I was not able to find the variety of colors though in the store, hence my Amazon order. Read more
