Super warm and NOT crinkly like a classic space blanket. Don't get me wrong, the old school space blankets are great but this thing is warm, soft and QUIET. I have used it as a blanket as well; that's how nice it is. The "fuzzy" side does grip an air mattress quite well, I did have to adjust it a but in the mornings but nothing drastic. I wouldn't take this up Everest but it's great for glamping or a cabin or on your couch on a super cold night. Read more
At first, I was skeptical that something this thin would make much of a difference on an air mattress. The desert nights where I camp can get chilly! But it makes ALL the difference! What a life saver! Thick and very soft. Helps keep the cold air seeping from our air matress keeping us warm throughout the cold 30 degree nights out camping. Great purchase. I have a Colemans camping cot. I place a fitted sheet on the air matress itself then I slip the matress into the cots sheet and zip it up then I place another fitted sheet on top of it and lastly lay this comforter down on it. This topper is great, but even with the cold mountain air, it still required me to cover the pad with a heavy blanket so I didn't feel the cold air in the mattress, and I myself slept warm. If you are normally hot all the time, this pad would be all you would need. The blanket itself is made really good, and folds up nicely when not being used, back into its case. Read more

I sleep in an unheated room {by choice}. I don't like piling blankets on me. This mattress topper works. I stay comfortable all night without a bunch of covers. I have one sheet, one very thin summer blanket, and one medium comforter. no pjs . My room temperature in my will be 54 to 58 degrees. Extended cold spells it will get into the 40's. The only draw back is that it will bunch up a bit because of my movements. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this mattress protector because winter started in my city, and sleeping on my air mattress made the floor really cold. I needed something to help keep the temperature comfortable. The protector is soft and comfortable, but I still had to put an extra blanket on top for more warmth. With both layers, the temperature stayed perfect, and I had no issues sleeping. I recommend it for anyone using an air mattress during winter! Read more
