Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating or immediately after towel drying or at least every 2 hours. The top locks shut so you don’t accidentally spray it everywhere. Twist the nozzle to the left to unlock and right to lock.

I know to apply sunblock hourly, so this is not due to my neglect. I was sunburned and blistered on day 1 of our multi day float trip. Had to wear pants and long sleeve UPF shirts to protect myself the rest of the trip. Normally I only wear sun protective clothing on these trips from 1p-4p but no.
