I intentionally purchased this mattress protector under the recommendation of my allergist. It was much less expensive than the one in her catalog of allergy solutions. She informed me that it could be any brand of mattress topper it just needed to say the same things in the ad as the one in the catalog. A "fully zippered allergy cover" on my mattress and box spring was the only recommendation she could make to me that I wasn't already doing. This thing sleeps so incredibly hot that I have had to use my old *cooling* allergen mattress cover over it and it still gets too warm but is much better. I spent an extensive amount of time reading online about how I could possibly cool down this cover more? It turns out I already have the right type of breathable sheets and there really is no other solution beyond what I have already done other than fully replacing the mattress zipper cover. If money were not a issue at this point, I'd buy a new one. If you do not mind having a hot mattress any time of the year, then this product is for you. Read more
I got this to preserve the mattress in the new apartment I moved into, and it worked out well. No smell from it, and the size fit perfectly. If you’ve been looking for a cover like this, I would recommend this one. Do use a sheet over this, it’s not the most comfy on its own. Ya teníamos uno así pero mi esposo no se fijó y lo metió a la secadora en modo caliente 😅 así de que ustedes no olviden ponerlo siempre al lavarlo en modo frío. Siguiendo bien las indicaciones de lavado no van a tener problemas. Es un excelente producto, le quedó un poquito grande a mi colchón pero no me incomoda, muy buena calidad. the only thing I’d say is that that it’s a wee bit more oversized than expected. It washes well, no shrinking, and it is waterproof. Still testing durability but it’s holding up so far.
