It was pretty easy to assemble, but you do need 2 people towards the end to hold up the bars in order to complete the process. It's definitely sturdy. In hindsight, I probably would have waited to see if the mattress slid before using the sticky strips. I think velcro strips would have been a better option. It's a bit difficult to make the bed as the bed sticks to the strips and you can't really tuck the sheets under. I needed a new bed, did not want to spend hundreds for one, this was a great purchase! You do not need a boxspring, the mattress was just enough to add a decent height. It was SUPER easy to assemble and I did it alone, no help was needed. It is also very sturdy and it does not squeak or make noises when getting on and off the bed. Read more

The only problem I have with this bed frame is the fact that one metal support was missing a plastic floor protector, it's a big deal because we have wood floors that I don't want damaged. We temporarily duct taped a piece of plastic but this leg is on the outside and is very visible. Perfect! I've had this for about a month. After reading reviews, I took my time assembling it making sure everything was tight after adding each section. It's very sturdy and the cost is great. In comparison to others I've looked at before purchasing. There's enough clearance from the floor to the bed to store an average under the bed storage bin(s). I have a kid and a dog that will run in my room and jump on it from time to time. I've had no issues with the support bars coming out or screws coming loose. I think it's about how you put it together. Just take your time and make sure everything is tightly in place before placing a mattress on it. When I opened the box, I was overwhelmed by the pieces...but the instructions were wonderful and the assembly was actually super simple. 30 minutes and my bed was put together. I've slept on it a few nights now and it's super sturdy! The ONLY downside is it's so open (and high enough) that to keep it tidy, you really can't have anything under the bed, so storage isn't amazing. But still WAY better than my old bedframe! Read more

Very easy to assemble and Very sturdy. But my 13” inch thick mattress is sinking in the gaps but I don’t think this would be an issue if I had a “real” mattress (update: works great with a real mattress).
