We put our box spring & mattress on for a higher bed. Love it Read more
This Allewie queen platform bed frame is one of those pieces that instantly makes a bedroom feel more put-together. The plush velvet upholstery and vertical channel tufted headboard give it a really elegant look without feeling overly fancy. I especially like that the headboard is adjustable, which makes it easy to pair with different mattress heights. The wooden slats are sturdy and supportive, so you don’t need a box spring, and the reinforced frame is designed to hold a lot of weight while staying quiet and stable. Putting it together is pretty straightforward, and once assembled it feels solid and well balanced. The grey color is neutral and blends easily with most bedroom styles, whether you lean modern, cozy, or a little glam. The only small downside is that velvet can show dust or lint more easily, so it may need an occasional quick wipe or lint roll. Overall, it’s a really attractive bed frame that offers good support and style without costing a fortune. Read more
If you’re looking to upgrade your bedroom without the "furniture store" price tag or the headache of a five-hour assembly project, the Allewie Queen Platform Bed is a heavy hitter in the budget-luxury category. Here is a breakdown of how it holds up. The "Unboxing to Under-an-Hour" Experience The standout feature for most—and certainly for me—is the assembly. Unlike some flat-pack nightmares that require a degree in structural engineering, this frame is impressively intuitive. The manual actually makes sense. Everything you need is included, and the parts are well-labeled. Time-Saver: One person can realistically put this together in about 45–60 minutes. The Vertical Channel Tufting gives the room an immediate "boutique hotel" vibe. The grey plush velvet is soft to the touch and has a subtle sheen that looks more expensive than it actually is. Whether you have a slim 8-inch mattress or a thick 14-inch pillow-top, you can adjust the headboard height so there isn't an awkward gap showing the wall behind you. Build Quality & Performance The wooden slats provide enough support for memory foam, hybrid, or spring mattresses. It sits at a comfortable height that feels grounded but modern. Once tightened down, there’s no annoying creaking or "sway" when you move around. The center support legs are key here, ensuring the queen-sized span doesn't sag over time. Read more

I recently got my hands on the Allewie Queen Platform Bed Frame, and honestly, I'm super impressed. If you're looking to elevate your bedroom aesthetic without sacrificing comfort or practicality, this one's a winner. First off, the plush velvet upholstery in cream is absolutely gorgeous. It feels incredibly soft to the touch and instantly adds a touch of elegance and coziness to the room. The vertical channel tufting on the headboard gives it a really modern and chic look that feels way more expensive than it is. One of my favorite features is the adjustable headboard. It can go from 41.5" to 45.5" high, which is perfect because it means you can adjust it to fit various mattress heights and still have that tall, luxurious headboard look. No more hidden headboards behind fluffy pillows! Assembly was surprisingly easy too, thanks to the Velcro slats design. It made putting it together a breeze, and I really appreciate the sturdy wooden slats and EVA mute foam – it makes for a super quiet and supportive base, meaning no creaks or groans when you move around. Plus, no box spring is needed, which is a huge bonus! I also love the ample under-bed storage space. It's always a win when a bed frame helps you keep your room tidy, and the sturdy legs mean it can handle a good amount of weight. Overall, if you're in the market for a stylish, comfortable, and well-designed bed frame that's easy to assemble and offers great value, I highly recommend the Allewie Queen Platform Bed Frame. It truly transforms a bedroom into a serene retreat! Read more
This plush Allewie queen headboard frame makes a grand statement. It adds a regal focal point to the bedroom. The 45.5" maximum height immediately demands well deserved attention. The velvet is sumptuous, covering an inch or more of padding. Padding is firm but soft to lean on. The side pieces and footboard are all covered in same plush velvet as headboard. With a 12" mattress, a standard size pillow leaves 8" or more of headboard showing, if verticle against headboard, to layer pillows. Construction is solid. Instructions are easy to follow. Manufacturer recommends 2 people for assembly. I was able to do it alone. Building the bed was straight forward without any tricky parts. Slats are connected for simple spacing and attached to frame with velcro for secure support. Slats have been confounding and weak in other bed frames I have ordered online. Very thankful for the thought put into design of this bed frame. More than 5" clearance under the bed displays rugs nicely and is more than enough for my robot vacuum to fit. Besides the luxurious feel and look of this bed, the price is my favorite aspect. This bed has so many features with quality craftsmanship, I'm amazed at the affordable price. Read more
