Good quality and easy to assemble. It is sturdy and doesn’t make noise. Well made, good support for the mattress and is stable under weight. I had extra hardware and all the holes lined up for the screws. It was well worth the money and I’m happy with my purchase. Read more

Ordered this and had it shipped to my mom's house as a spare bed replacement for my wife and I to sleep on when we visit. She didn't need a whole bedroom suite, or an expensive "fancy frills" 4-post heavy wooden monstrosity. Originally I was just going to go with a simple metal platform, but then scanned the options presented with head and foot boards. The prices for a little nicer bed was negligible, and far cheaper than cobbling up the frame, rails, and head/foot boards separately and hoping everything would fit without too much modification. Be aware that shipping is a big factor when pricing these various beds out. Some distributors on Amazon will price their beds low while charging high shipping rates. This one met all of the price and shipping points, thought it wasn't my first choice. However, the design and faux wood colors were very compatible with the the bedroom, so it's a win. When I arrived at my mother's house, the box was sitting in the spare bedroom. The box was a bit beat up, but nothing inside was damaged. It was well wrapped and padded. I unboxed and sorted all of the parts which were clearly numbered, and familiarized myself with the assembly instructions. The instructions were mainly clear CAD drawings (insert part A3 into B1, use bolts B4 here, here, and here) with very little but helpful text. The kit came with 1 Allen tool and 1 box tool. No other tools are needed or were used. In about 2 hours I had the bed fully assembled, placed, and the new foam mattress and padding installed. I did this myself with no extra hands. If you take your time and stare at the instructions until you "get it", it will go very smoothly. QUALITY: This is where I was a bit shocked. This sub $200 bed exceeded our expectations in every way. The metal components are very strong, and the welds are very well done. The frame fits together tightly, and the bolts are high quality and large. Once together, there was zero play, zero squeaks or creeks, no movement, even by the head or foot boards. It states it can hold 800 lbs and I believe it. We slept on it for 3 nights and it was as solid as any bed I ever slept on - more so than others. This bed frame was NOT cobbled together, someone truly thought this out. Now.. I don't want to over-rate this bed. It's NOT fine furniture, or heirloom quality. The "wood" trim, while pleasant to look at, is fake and would not hold up to roughhousing and impact damage from children. I'm sure the metal paint will eventually wear due to use over the years (same as any bed). But... I'd buy this again for spare guestrooms in a heartbeat. Read more
PROS ✓ great price, reasonably affordable ✓ modern sleek design, heavy duty & high quality material. I love that it's all metal except part of the headboard/footboard, which is engineered wood, less likely to damage being metal ✓ detailed & labeled instruction manual, easy to read & easy to put together, it took me about 3 hours by myself * you'll need help connecting the headboard/footboard/rails ✓ doesn't squeak or make noises when you move or get out of bed CONS: ⚠️ watch out & be mindful of the metal bar in the middle on each side of the bed, it will destroy your toes 😭 Read more

My original worry with this frame were sparse reviews about the support beams for the mattress falling out (and tons on multiple other frame contenders), this isn’t the case—they feel sturdy and took a little bit of effort to fit into place. Assembly took me roughly 30-45 minutes by myself after getting everything out of the box. Directions lack words but the images are easy to understand and all the parts are labeled. This is my first night using this frame, so far there is no noise and it feels very stable. I bought a 10 inch mattress for this frame, the weight of the mattress seems to make it slide less, but there is a little bit of a slide if you’re pushing on the mattress to make the bed. I have noticed a few people complaining about the height of the headboard (saying it’s too short) but I find that with a 10 inch mattress, the headboard is a perfect size—but does sit just a little bit above the mattress so it will slide under the headboard if you’re pushing on the end of it for some reason. Pros: - Easy to assemble - Sturdy - Support beams (in my case) stay put and don’t fall out - A 10 inch mattress is relatively stationary - No noise (time will tell) - No need for a box spring since there’s support beams Cons: - Box is VERY heavy, I’m 5’ and had to drag the box in with some help - If you have a lighter mattress, you may experience some sliding. - Some parts take some effort to go into place. In my case the two metal beams that connect the headboard and the footboard took some strength to shove into place (my tip if this happens to you; place the headboard against the wall and sit facing the footboard, align the metal pieces so that they can slide into place, then pull on the metal piece connected to the footboard until they slide into place) - Black paint/coating chips relatively easy if you have to force pieces together, but the color underneath is dark grey and not that noticeable Read more
