It's a decent formulation with much provided much more benefits than just standard minoxidil alone. This is roughly a 2 month supply if used as directed, can be stretched out to 3.5 months if used only once a day. This is how I typically use it. It's going to be up to you to decide if that's a good value for your money. This value comes from additional ingredients which promote overall skin, scalp and hair health. The additional ingredients being topical Biotin, caffeine as a scalp stimulant, niacinamide for scalp health, keratin which has shown potential to strengthen hair strands, allantoin which can have healing benefits due to inflammation. It has contains a decent amount of extracts from roots to delay the onset of graying hairs and potentially promote hair growth. Now it's still meant to be a hair growth topical, it will not alone stop hair loss. You'll need to seek a professional for that. I believe it's a okay value, but the scent if off-putting and can be too much for some. It maybe used to hide the scent of the botanical extracts, but it's just too much. Reccomend if you're not sensitive to smells. Read more

As an avid minoxidil user, I’ve really enjoyed this product. I appreciate the lightweight formulation—it leaves my hair feeling refreshed rather than weighed down. The dropper bottle is a great touch, making applications clean and precise, especially for targeting the scalp. Compared to the foam I was previously using—which often ended up sitting on my hair—the dropper has been a game changer in ensuring the product reaches the scalp directly. I did notice a mild tingling sensation, but nothing more than what I’ve experienced with similar products. After 30 days of consistent use, I’ve seen new hair growth, reduced shedding, and noticeable thickening. Plus, the price is unbeatable! Read more

I started using the Allurials 5% Minoxidil Hair Growth Oil to address noticeable thinning around my temples, and I've found it to be a highly effective product that is surprisingly easy to incorporate into my daily routine. The formula is potent, containing the clinically proven 5% Minoxidil for both Men and Women, combined with a nourishing Biotin Serum. The Hair Growth Oil format makes application simple, as the oil consistency spreads easily across the scalp without running everywhere, ensuring the treatment is delivered directly to the follicles where it's needed most. After consistent nightly application over several months, I have begun to see encouraging results: the previously thinning areas are showing visible signs of new growth, and my existing hair feels noticeably thicker and stronger. I appreciate that this product tackles Hair Regrowth Treatment for Scalp and Hair Loss with a dual-action approach. For anyone committed to addressing hair loss with a potent, reliable, and easy-to-use liquid formula, this 4 Fl Oz product is a five-star essential in the fight against thinning hair. Read more

I bought this Allurials 5% Minoxidil Hair Growth Oil for my husband to use on his balding areas. Unfortunately, he could only use it once because of the strong smell, which also gave him a headache. I don’t blame him for not wanting to walk around smelling like that. After some research, I found that certain hair regrowth serums can cause headaches, so this isn’t entirely uncommon. Because of the smell and side effects, he won’t be using it again, and he didn’t use it long enough to know if it would actually work. Read more

I’ve tried many different 5% minoxidil products over the past year, some are liquid solutions that you spray on, or apply with a dropper bottle, while others are foams that are dispensed from pressurized cannisters. I can say that by far my favorite products are liquid solutions that come in dropper bottles. Solutions are just easier to apply, since foams can be quite messy. Spray solutions are also messy, so if I get one, I generally transfer it to an empty dropper bottle. Droppers just allow for targeted application of the liquid to your scalp and the roots of your hair, where the product actually works. Getting the product on your hair does absolutely nothing. As for formulations, I really only look for 5% minoxidil and the carrier. The chemical structure of minoxidil requires that it be dissolved in a carrier, since it doesn’t dissolve well in pure water. So any solution you get is going to have something besides the minoxidil, such as ethylene glycol or castor oil. I find that glycols can leave quite a bit of residue, whereas castor oil seems to be much lighter and I notice it less. This is important since, for men, it’s advisable to use this twice a day. If you don’t have a chance to wash your hair in between applications---as I try to do---excess residue can make already thin hair look very limp and greasy. I find that this formulation, especially if you can get it just on your scalp, doesn’t leave any noticeable residue, which is great. Overall, I really love this 5% minoxidil solution and recommend it because it’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and comes in a handy dropper bottle that allows you to place it right at the roots of your hair. Just as a side note, this product does have a faint, sweet scent that is reminiscent of brown sugar. If find it pleasant and it fades quickly, but I thought you should know. Read more
