Almay Eyeliner Pencil Black 205 0 01 oz Pack of 2

I should have left a positive review loooooong time ago, as I think it's difficult to find a makeup product that works consistently, and doesn't change formulas or disappear because a new trend has taken over. This is the one and only affordable eyeliner that has amazing staying power, is pitch black, and doesn't irritate my very sensitive eyes even if it gets into them or if I very occasionally (gasp) sleep a night in it because, yes, I'm lazy. I have been using these eyeliner pencils for over ten years now, and while it's nice to try out some more high end eyeliners once in a while, I can't really afford that on a regular basis, and Almay always saves me in a tight spot. I am scared that they will discontinue it, but so far was able to find it on Amazon without fail. I do use an eyeshadow primer with it (usually Urban Decay, which is often on sale on their site and is the best in my humble opinion) but I bet Almay makes primers now too, and if you are a normal civilized person, meaning not like me ( I tend to periodically stick my fingers in my eyes or accidentally rub them forgetting that I got makeup on, resulting in having to fix my eyeliner a bit throughout the day), it will stay on all day without smudging, no joke. This is one of teh best eye liners I have used, and I can assure you I have used almost every eye liner in the market. So this is great cos its inexpensive, lasts long, has a small sharpener on the end of the pencil,very portable even in small clutches, the color lasts and doesn't smudge easily. Read more

This has been my go-to eyeliner for a few decades. Yes, I am old, lol. I have been a heavy eyeliner user since high school and have tried lots of more expensive eyeliners recommended to me by others, reviews, makeup artists etc, yet this remains my go-to. This one gives me the most staying power. I almost freaked out when they seemed to discontinue it for a short time. Great product. Wish it would have come in original packaging vs. just the eyeliner in a little plastic bag that could be easily opened/tampered with by someone else. But there were no signs of that so felt comfortable using. Read more
