I’ve been wanting a new pair of rain boots for a while now and fell upon these. Alpine Swiss is one of my favorite brands when it comes to outdoor gear, so I knew I couldn’t go wrong with these. They are comfortable and keep my feet safe from water while still being warm. I will say that the sizing for me is a bit large but I figure using thick socks will solve that problem. I did not have any issue with sizing around the calf. They are durable and great quality so I am very happy! Read more

I love how easy they slip on for those rainy Midwest days. The thick material repels water really well and is easy to wipe clean. Yet they are unbelievably not bulky and even have a fashionable look. However, the cozy soft fabric inside that keeps my feet dry and warm even during snow days is what did it for me. Reliable easy to wipe clean. Read more

I wish I liked these better than I do. First off they run very big, but the width around the calf is small, I don’t feel like I have overly large calves, and they were definitely tight even with them adjusted. They will definitely keep your feet dry, they are a very thick rubber and have a nice non slip sole. I think the shorter ones would be better these bunch at the ankle and in my opinion look kind of silly. Bottom line, they will keep your feet dry, and maybe it’s just my feet but they weren’t my favorite fit. Read more

These would be absolutely fantastic if the size chart was correct. I do have wider calves but they are under the listed measurements. My wider calf is 15" and the chart says the tall boots are 15.2" with the buckle tightened. With the buckle loose, I still can't get the boots all the way up. Ive been looking for a pair of rain boots like this but they're all too skinny. I am VERY disappointed in these because they seem absolutely fantastic otherwise. If they fit you, i'm sure they'll be awesome. Read more

I ordered these because we live on a hobby farm and they're always good to wear to do outside chores, especially after the rain. They are OK, but they didn't fit quite right. I can wear them but they fit a little differently than I'm used to. The soles seem a little thin and there's no arch support, so I'm not sure they are what I'd call comfortable. For the price, I expected a little better quality. So I can't really say that they are a good value. The style is nice, and they are easy to put on and use. I just wish they were a little thicker and the size was more exact. They are practical and functional, however and do seem waterproof. Read more

I love these rainboots! I have only worn tall, below the knee rainboots in the past, and this mid-calf height is my new favorite. It is much more comfortable and doesn't push up against the top of my foot/front ankle or bend in the back when I point my toes like the tall ones usually do. The only time water has gotten into my boots was when I was jumping in a fairly deep puddle with my kids, so the height is probably good enough to keep water out for typical wear. These are very good quality and look nice. I think they run a little big, though. I normally wear an 8.5 shoe, but order boots in size 9 so I can wear thicker socks with them. These seem to fit more like a size 9.5 on me. My rating scale for reference: 5 stars: this product is awesome & I want to buy it for all my friends & family 4 stars: this is a good product with a small flaw, drawback, or possible improvement. Something I might buy again. 3 stars: this is a fair product with a large flaw, drawback, or necessary improvement. I would not buy again. 2 stars: this is a poor product whose flaws prevent it from being used/worn properly and it can only be improved by a complete redesign. I would definitely not buy again. 1 star: this is an awful product that is not safe to be used/worn. Read more

I haven't gotten a ton of use out of these, because the fit just isn't working for me. I find them to be a bit narrow in the toes and too wide in the heel. The tops also rub if I don't have tall socks or tucked-in pants, whereas all my other garden boots I can wear with shorts just fine. I'd say that my calves are neither particularly wide nor slim, so I think it's a problem with the boot design, not just a fit issue. The soles seem to have decent traction. Read more

As someone with muscular calves I have a hard time finding boots that are on the taller end that fit and lucky for me these have the adjustable clip on the top of the boot allowing me to have enough room for my calves. An issue I find with most rain boots is that the insoles seem to come out when I remove my foot and these are no exception. These also seem a little pricey for what they are but if these are what you are looking for and you're not looking to spend less, these are good. Read more
