Definitely size up my husband is usually a XL tall and he wears a 3x in this jacket. But with that said it seems to be really good quality and he says it's comfortable. The same jacket is well over $100 more at the bike shop so definitely worth the money. I love the style and fit and color looks great on person. Read more
Elbow protectors actually cover some forearm which i think would be nice in a slide. Coat is warm with the liner and very breath able with out. On a 65 degree day no liner it was almost chilly on my back without a back protector as the exhaust vent is always open but still tucked in enough to be waterproof. Crazy there was that much airflow with the intake vents closed so I imagine it wont be to hot in the 80s. A medium fit me nicely and tailored fit and didn't flap in the wind. 160lbs 5'8" Read more
Perfect for cold weather rides, exceeding the limits.... Size large, im 5'7 at 160 lbs. Fits spot on. It has a nice liner that's easy to clean. So far its been around 43 out and I'm comfortable with just a t-shirt. Im sure when it gets colder out, I'll be just fine. Read more
I didn't buy this for the waterproof feature, but rather because it looked more like a casual jacket. The way the zipper flap is folded inside does help eliminate some of the wind that inevitably goes thru a zipper when riding. Unfortunately, the zipper is on the left, like a girl's jacket. Makes you feel dumb trying to connect and disconnect it. It's pretty warm for cool nights, but if you really want to keep the cold out, I'd suggest wearing a rain jacket with a storm flap (covers the zipper) over this jacket. I suggest the Columbia Watertight Li jacket, or the REV'IT! Cyclone 4 H2O rain jacket. Read more

I love how the jacket fits on me! Im 6ft and 200 pounds. I would say I have a big torso and small stomach and long arms so the XL was a perfect fit. I tend to have issues with jackets fitting me but the XL was perfect. Read more
After reading many reviews on different brands, I decided to go with Alpinestars for all my gear. Unfortunately, the zipper failed 4 months after use. Contacted customer service which they advised that it may take up to a month for repairs. Eh, I am going to try Dainese. Read more
