Bought this stand mainly for my projector, and it works great when the top surface is flat and it holds everything steady, easy to adjust height, and setup is quick. The problem comes when you tilt the platform for better projection angle. It doesn't have enough grip or support to keep things from shifting. Even a slight accidental push (like bumping the coffee table while watching a movie on the sofa) makes the whole thing move way too easily. Would be perfect if it had some kind of locking mechanism or rubber grips to prevent sliding from light contact. Still useful overall, but keep that in mind if you plan to use tilt a lot. Read more

I recently got a projector and a screen and thought that a little stand like this would be much better than having to haul a table around when I do presentations. The stand itself is good. It is sturdy and I like how I can adjust the height. It is nice that it has a pin for the height so it is more secure than just the friction grip. The stand feels stable enough that I trust it with my $2,000 projector, which is obviously very important when you have something of that value sitting on it. What really impressed me too is their support. My package arrived and the screw package looked like one end hadn't been sealed right and only had 1 of the 5 screws. I reached out to support and after getting my information shipped me the screws within a few days. All companies will have problems, but the sign of a good company is how it solves those problems.
