This is amazing dry shampoo, definitely the best I’ve found. It smells great with a subtle clean scent. It helps to follow the instructions to tap the product on the counter before dispensing. Also I did need to press the button on the pump quite a few times to get the product to start dispensing with the first use. I’ve been searching for an alternative to the aerosol dry shampoo I’ve used for the past few years and saw this product while ordering a few of the Tallow Moisturizers for a Mother’s Day gift. I’m so excited to have this product from a brand I trust and love! 🙌 This is my first powder dry shampoo and I will say it takes a little brushing to work it in, but once you do, your hair looks fresh, feels clean, and has that perfect bit of volume. I just received this product today and used it on 4 day hair to see how well it works and let me tell you it works! I am mixed and have dark brown curly hair and used this on a blow out. I read the directions and shook the pump against a hard surface to ensure it wasn’t clogged - the product comes out in a stream like “spray” and smells like vanilla. I am a BIG vanilla girl so major plus for me. Truthfully I used an excessive amount the first time as i was on my last day in between washes and it left little to no cast on my hair unlike other organic powders I’ve used in the past. So far I’m VERY happy with this product and highly recommend. As an additional note I tried to use my blow dry brush to “rub” it in more initially and didn’t really get the results I wanted so just raked my fingers through and it did wonders as I was able to get some more volume that way as well So happy to have found this!!! This didnt do much for my hair at all and the dispenser is annoying and doesn’t work properly. I like the clean ingredients but it wasn’t effective in my fine oily prone hair. I wouldn’t buy again. Read more
I’m obsessed with this dry shampoo from Amallow! I’ve been trying to switch to cleaner hair products, and this one checks all the boxes. It’s completely non-toxic, gentle on my scalp, and still does an amazing job soaking up oil and adding volume. It doesn’t leave any white residue or that gritty feeling some dry shampoos have. My hair looks refreshed, soft, and smells subtly clean—not perfumey. I can easily stretch an extra day or two between washes now. Recently had to switch products due to an allergy. I decided to try this instead of my old aerosol dry shampoo. I didn't think it would work with the pump, but I was wrong. It's awesome.. The product goes exactly where I want it and works great. Best of all no toxic ingredients! Read more
If you want to look like one of those powdered wig folks from George Washington days this is for you. It cleans out your hair so it doesn't look greasy, but you have to brush it a lot or use a very little bit to get it all out. I have very short hair for a girl - I discovered I can wash it with some of that foamy hospital no rinse soap and a damp washcloth. Read more
