You cannot beat this unit for the money. It keeps my room ice cold, even during the hottest parts of the day. Installation was fast and didn't require any special tools. It's efficient and keeps my area perfectly chilled. A reliable, high-performance unit that is a great value. Read more
This unit is easy to install but it requires at least a 15 amp circuit operating by itself. Did not βcooperateβ when other electrical devices were on the same 15-amp circuit; tripped the arc fault breaker. Runs great when on its own circuit. Easy to sleep to. Remote control is simple and intuitive. Read more
Had this for 2 months where daytime temps ranged from 85-104 F. Keeps my 700 sq ft, above the garage, bonus room cool even with 7 monitors and 5 computers running. The only con to this unit is that is is LOUD. I expected it to be loud, but it is even louder than I expected. Loud enough to be annoying, but I have not found a portable A/C unit of similar size that could cool this space without having to run constantly for 8-10 hours once the outside temp reached 95 F. This unit keeps the room at 73 F without running constantly. Would buy again. Read more
I am seriously not happy with this thing at all. It Was so expensive. I have to babysit it or else it will get water everywhere. The hose for the water to go out of it is too short and there's only one , but there are three separate places for the water to come out. If you don't catch the water soon enough , it will fill it up and turn off the air conditioning unit and just blow out warm air. This was a waste of money, and I no longer have the box, so I can't return it.And I'm pretty sure the return is well past its date anyways. It also makes your electric bill go through the roof. You're better off getting a window unit. I honestly hate this thing. It's such a nuisance. It does cool off the air , but only in one tiny room And only if the water isn't filling up the inside. Again, if you don't catch it in time, it will kick off the air conditioning unit and you will just have warm air blowing out. It is huge bulky and That awful stuff that sticks to the window when you try to take it off, it's just so bad.It makes a mess.Everything about it is awful. I highly recommend finding some other product and do not buy this one. Save yourself the headache. I wish someone would have told me. Sure wish I could send this awful thing back and get a refund. This has been great thus far. For some awful reason our building management shuts down the AC in October... I get it kinda, I live in a building for seniors and people with disabilities, I happen to be the latter and am by far the youngest resident. Other residents might like to feel as if they live in Florida. That being said, I live in Denver and need like 70-72Β° and this has been a life saver, super easy set up. I haven't needed to or tried the dehumidifier because, well, Denver is a high altitude desert. The fan/blower is pretty quite but when the AC kicks on you'll know. I'd say it mostly resembles the buzz of power lines. If you've never lived very close to high voltage lines, I'd say it's similar to a cicada that won't STFU. Still worth it though. The sound isn't crazy and I sleep like a nice cool dream. Read more
Ive had this since Feb. It runs none stop as a secondary ac. The plugs are just little rubbers insterted into the back in the drains. With no screw top to help secure them. Woke up this morning to it leaking, and even though its six months old, it had its filters changed every two weeks, wiped down, and drained when needed (because florida) and yet I now have serious floor damage because it was leaking and I have zero idea why. I do not recommend for a long term investment. ~*Updated 12/2025*~ The middle plug that leaked i sealed shut, since there are two other seals that can be used for draining purposes. What I noticed is that the ac I purchased (with heat pump) doesnt have a heater selection on the main frame. As its winter now in florida, I wanted to test it out but when I did, I realized I only had ac, auto, fan, humidity. I put the ac on fan, since I figured blowing room temp air is just as good and the unit made a horrible noise and was blowing out heat - which confused me, because its not that cold to have the heat auto kick on. Switched back to ac and it kicked on (when it gets too cold, the ac will kick off itself) so I know its not that cold. Read more
Great unit! Super loud though, so beware of the noise. The machine functions as advertised. Just need earplugs in a bedroom placement. Read more
