These paper plates are very strong. Just helps them be very sturdy when you have food on them. I hate the flimsy paper plates where you have to double up in order to have a good hold on your food. I've always purchased Chinet from my local big box store, but they have gotten quite pricey. These are not as strong, but are a great alternative.
