Too bad Amazon doesn't have a "ZERO Star" option. Utter garbage, and return system with Amazon is horrible...not a human to interact with. Bought 2 blenders...Blender #1 was defective, would not even turn on! Wasn't even going to bother with #2, after seeing the cheap plastic gears that drive the blender. Amazon Basic item.....Basic implies it actually WORKS, no? DO NOT WASTE YOUR time with this one! Too bad, because the glass pitcher body seemed well made, but the base? cheap, cheesy buttons. I bought this item on 9/30 and today 10/16 was the first day i actually used it. I have tried all outlets in the kitchen and tested them by plugging in my phone. All outlets work, the blender does not. I watched the troubleshooting video, read the instructions and even asked Rufus and the blender still doesn't work. I would not recommend buying this blender and I wish you would test your products before you ship them. I am so frustrated right now!!!!!!! Read more

It does its job but we had one issue. The very first time I used it I randomly shut off and I literally thought we got a defective one. I wrote a bad review and was about to post it when I decided to test it again and read the instructions. It had overheated and needed to cool down. Now we know to use it slowly and if it overheats it will stop working. Which is fine. It works great now that we know how to use it properly. Read more
