Best quality and functionality for the money

Customerβ€”January 3, 2026

The stand has good quality hardware plus a sliding boom. The legs are sturdy with rubber feet. Includes adapters for both mic clip types. You won’t find a better mic stand at this price. Read more

Amazon Basics Microphone Stand – Solid Budget Option

Natalia Taranovaβ€”January 2, 2026

Bought this stand for my husband as a basic, affordable option. It does what it's supposed to: holds the microphone securely, the tripod base is stable, and the height adjustment works smoothly. The build feels decent for the price, though ours arrived with a small dent in one of the tubes. Since it didn't affect functionality and we needed it, we kept it. It's lightweight and easy to move around. A no-frills stand that gets the job done – hope it lasts. A good pick if you're on a tight budget and don't need pro-grade durability. Read more

Affordable and Reliable

JB's One Man Bandβ€”August 25, 2025

This Amazon Basics mic stand has me spoiled. I have spent so much money on mic stands and all of them seem to disappoint. They sag, they lock up, they are poorly built, or they are simply too expensive. Then Amazon comes along and offers this mic stand that addressees every negative I just mentioned. They are well built and hold up after being thrown in trunks or the back of trucks, or dropped on the asphalt. When you set the position, they stay in position. They can withstand the weight of a sandbag as a counterweight, and they are priced competitively. This is my goto mic stand. Read more

Great stand and great bargain.

John Galtβ€”June 26, 2025

It's hard to get excited about a microphone stand, but this one is really great. And for the price, it's a tremendous bargain. With some of my other (more expensive) stands, the boom keeps slipping at the pivot point. This one doesn't slip at all, I think because it has slight indentations inside the pivoting device (I don't know what you call it.) The stand is very lightweight, but it's also very sturdy. It just seems to be extremely well designed. It doesn't include a microphone clip or holder. Overall, just a great stand and a great bargain. Read more

Exactly Fine

Mark Ursoβ€”May 22, 2025

It holds a mic. It's not pricey. If that's what you want, this is fine. It does say Amazon on it, so your friends will be impressed for sure, as most of the famous blues artists used Amazon mic stands. But you knew that. Balance? Weight? Longevity? This is not being sold as super sturdy. It's not too heavy and will serve its purpose for anything that isn't unusually heavy. The thumbscrews appear to be a little flimsy, but I've had no issues. If you combine the weak-feeling thumbscrews with a too-heavy mic, you will meet this device's limitations. Read more

Falls over unless in a specific position

Leesaβ€”May 26, 2025

I have a Blue Snowball attached to mine. If the arm is not over one of the legs, it will fall over. This is not good at handling weight. Also, when I change the angle to be bigger, it always falls down no matter how much I tighten it. It is easy to tighten and loosen, but it does its own thing. It does not fall when I make it taller. The arm fits my pop filter just fine. I like the cable-management accessory clips that it came with, so that my audio cable stays on the rod. It is not a sturdy piece though. I also wish the arm was longer. I have it out at long as possible, and it barely reaches me. I can't have it closer because the feet are where my desk is, and my PC is also in the way. Read more
