The media could not be loaded. So far I'm really liking this space heater. It's small enough to put on a desk and get a nice warm stream of air on a chilly day, whereas a larger unit would not fit. It's also just powerful enough that if left on in a room for an extended period it will take the edge off the chill, but even without a thermostat you won't have to worry too much about overheating. The noise level is significant, just as the noise level for most fans is significant. But it's a white noise sort of sound with a very faint hum, so it sounds pleasant enough to my ears that I don't mind. I can smell the heater but it's not overpowering. I love the automatic shutoff mechanism and the on-off switch in the back is welcome given that I don't want to unplug it all the time. (measurements in degrees Fahrenheit) I put the heater in my room (which is about 100 feet sqr, 9"x9") and left it running overnight, and I slept much better than normal because the temperature was much more pleasant - while the rest of the house was about 65 degrees, my room is now 74 degrees after reaching thermal equilibrium. In the immediate vicinity of the heater temperatures reach a 80 - 90 degrees. The plastic side of the heater was 83 degrees, below body temp so slightly cool to the touch, and the metal grill was 130 degrees, hot but if you accidentally touch it for a brief you won't get burned badly. I found it to be a very functional space heater with some nice safety measures and a great form factor. Read more

I live in an area with very mild winters. I bought this little 500 watt heater because my existing 1000 watt heater was too powerful for my small bedroom, I couldn't even lie down and take a nap with it on because by the time I'd wake up, my room would be too hot. But with this new little heater, I can leave it running and take a nap, and my room feels just right when I wake up. For a heater, it is rather tiny, and it looks more like a speaker than a heater. It has a safety switch at the bottom that turns it off if it tips over. And a red status LED strip on the side when it is powered on. It is quiet. I'm surprised at how much plastic it's made out of, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. Been using it for about a week, for like 3 hours a day. And the price was great. I love it. Read more

Although no settings, just on or off it runs efficiently and is a good choice for personal space heat. Decent heat output for 500w. Very portable light weight and it is relatively quiet. Read more

The heater pretty much perfectly suits it's stated purpose. Bonkers that everything is rigged with locking spade terminals and is very repairable. I would not have expected that for a price that is meant for disposable items. Tip-over and overheat sensors present that should eliminate fire risk. For anyone looking to boost the fan, it's 92mm x 25mm. An unfortunate size that does not have good options for high output. Noctua sells a good upgrade but it would be amazing if there were a 120mm fan version. My use case involved completely hacking the unit as a car cabin pre warmer for winter. The fan as shipped barely pushes air; great for keeping heat at a desk; terrible for circulating air. Read more

Fantastic little heater and surprisingly does a better than expected job on heating a big room! I bought this for the Christmas season at my home in Florida. My entire family was coming for two weeks and they like the temp to be 70 which is super cold for me. Anything higher and I get lots of “I am dying I am so hot” :) so in order to make my family comfortable I obliged them. However, I can’t sleep in cold like that my bones ache… so I placed the heater in my bedroom and would turn it on at night. My room is fairly large and several big windows, my room was so toasty I had to turn a ceiling fan on and eventually turned the heater off because it worked so well. It’s super quiet and small, can’t imagine it won’t work well for you. Read more

This thing is AWESOME! I cannot speak to the longevity of it yet (I will edit my review down the road), but I've been using this space heater at work for over a week and it's amazing. I work in an open-floor office space, and there's constantly thermostat battles. Usually the office is around 65 degrees, which is too cold for me! This little space heater does a great job of just warming up my space. I can keep it on my desk safely, without it taking up a lot of room. I can also keep it at my feet without worrying about it. It is very quiet, and hasn't even been noticed by the coworker at the desk next to mine. I have not put the self-timer to the test either, as I turn it off as soon as I leave my desk, but I like that it has an auto-shutoff and I don't have to worry about burning down the office. It really does its job well. I'm already recommending it to my other frigid teammates. Read more
