The Amazon Basics Ceramic Space Heater is a very useful and reliable heater that does exactly what it’s described to do. Despite its compact size, it puts out impressive heat and does a great job warming up a semi-large space. I use it in my office, and it keeps the room comfortably warm without taking up much space. I also really like its sleek, modern design. It looks clean and minimal, so it blends well with my office setup without feeling bulky or out of place. I appreciate that it has three heat settings along with a built-in fan option, which makes it versatile for different temperature needs. It’s also quiet while running, so it doesn’t disrupt work or calls, which is a big plus. My only drawback is that the light on the front of the heater stays on even when the unit is turned off, which doesn’t leave much peace of mind. Aside from that, it works great and performs well. A small basic 1500 watt heater for a good price. Before Christmas this was about the cheapest small heater available on sale and it's a decent price when not on sale. I have used it to warm up the bathroom before a shower, to take the chill off of the living room in the morning or near me in the evening if I'm too lazy to build a fire in the woodstove. I haven't had any problems with it. It heats well and the blower fan is not super loud, but I am happy not to hear it when I shut it down. There is nothing fancy at all about this heater; no remote, no timer, no digital display, it doesn't oscillate (though for a couple dollars more there is a version that does), and I don't care because it's just a temporary heat source for an hour or two when I'm present in the room. It does have a thermostat, so you can set it to whatever level you like on the dial knob, left side with a plus and minus symbol. I'm happy with the heater. It replaced two small heaters I couldn't repair because the motors are pretty much gone. I would purchase it again if I couldn't find something less expensive of the same quality and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a simple, no frills portable heater. Read more

For this Amazon Basics space heater, you are really getting quality items at affordable prices. While there is nothing special about this heater besides it's price, that is the main reason why you should buy this. It's affordable but the quality is not amazing. That's not even near decent. One small drop will shatter the corner of the plastic housing on the unit. It's not built very tough or durable and it's mainly meant for you to just set it and forget it. If you have kids then this is not ideal. They will easily knock this over and will crack this thing and you will have to buy another one. What I do like is the price. It really reflects that this is an Amazon Basic item. Low quality but affordable price. The size is not that big either and this fits into the corner of a small room. It works well for small spaces but I wouldn't recommend using this for medium size spaces. It has an auto shut off for when it reaches the set temperature just like other space heaters. Great little heater. Warms up small office space really well and doesn’t make a lot of nose at all. Tested the “auto off” safety feature by tipping it back while it was on and it works like a charm. It shut off right away as soon as it tilted over. Used for about a week now, will update later as use time increases. Update: the front dented pretty easily when I accidentally bumped it into some boxes when storing it. But used a paper clip to hook into the spot and it popped right back to normal. The Best space heater I’ve ever had!!! It’s small and doesn’t take up much space. I keep it on the coffee table when the weather gets cold and it heats up the living and dining room quickly. I can adjust the temperature and it does a great job of turning on and off to keep us warm. I’ve also used the fan setting on warmer days. If it gets tipped over it automatically shuts off. This small heater delivers. Mostly plastic construction but that's to be expected for the price. It works well and the heat output is decent. There is no remote control but the knobs on top are large and easy to see. There is no timer but the internal thermostat keeps it from running constantly. There is a little pin at the bottom that shuts the heater off if moved or tipped over, so it is save to use. I'm using it in a small bathroom and it takes the chill out so it's more comfortable getting out of the shower. For the price, it's a good heater. Read more

Small but gets the job done. I literally turn it on, have it by the front corner of my room, and it warms my entire room. I’m impressed by how efficient it is, and it’s slightly comical given its size. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a heater but doesn’t want to spend a ton on one. The output is decent Id give it an 8 on a scale of 1-10. So far nonissues with safety if it tips over it automatically shuts off which I like. Gets the job done as far as keeping me warm but you cant set the unit too far away if you’re trying to get warm fast. You have to be within at least a foot to a foot and a half. It’s cute/small. I use it at work on my desktop and sit it near me to keep me warm. It has two setting levels and when you put it on the highest that bad boy kicks in and really will warm you up! Lol. It also has a fan setting if you want to keep cool so I like that as well if I need to switch it up or if I get too hot.
