This product is very expensive as name brand and sold by the ounce. I purchased some small empty containers and used an alcohol cleaned butter knife to fill them with individual sized containers. My husband has very dry, cracked, itchy skin. The heels of his feet are dry, cracked, and flaky. He really likes how this lotion left his skin feeling throughout the day. I've used this ointment on my hands, elbows, and lips through some dry winter weather. It creates a solid protective barrier that lasts through hand washing and daily activities. This product is ok. I tried to use this instead of Aquaphor because the price was good. The only thing I dislike about this ointment is its too thin. I liked Aquaphor for chapped lips and dry feet. The moment this ointment hits your warm skin, it heats up and gets slippery. It is great for the price though. Read more
I had scratches on my back from those back scratches and lotion wasn't getting it. I started using my aquaphor that I had for tattoos, but it's was the small tube. I checked out ingredients in bith the Amazon ointment and aquaphor. They have basically same ingredients and Amazon's was cheaper. I love this product. It might go on greasy, but that doesn't last, and my scratches are not irritating anymore. Read more
