Customers find the pet bed to be of great quality, comfortable, and soft, with plenty of cushioning and a thick, soft faux suede outer material.

I like it. The jury is still out with our Whippets, however. Will take some adjusting after a lifetime with Snoozers. For the savings in price I highly recommend this bed. Excellent craftsmanship. Read more

I bought this bed not knowing if my dog would burrow under the blanket. She loves it! I may buy one with a more uniform cushion next for her. They all cost considerably more. This one is has bumpy, foam pieces as fill, which is okay for some dogs. Older dogs need a firmer, flatter mattress in my opinion. I’ll upgrade when the time comes. This has removable and washable cover, another plus. The faux-fleece is warming, so good for dogs who like/need more warmth. Overall the quality is good for the price point. Read more

Until today, I would have given this bed 5 stars. When I was looking for a new pet bed, I searched for “waterproof” and “machine washable”. My bad for not verifying those attributes before purchasing as I have learned Amazon search results are not reliable. Today one of my dogs peed on the floor and dragged his bed over it. When I discovered it, I wasn’t concerned because it is waterproof and machine washable. Uh, no it is not. The cushion was wet and was too big to adequately fit in my washer and I could tell the fabric wouldn’t hold up so I hand washed in the tub. But by this evening it was still pretty wet so I tossed it in the dryer on low - by itself - to get the damp out. Well, when I took it out, the cushion had ripped open. Meanwhile, I put the cover in the washing machine. It washed okay, but the plastic part that helps the the opening stay open came out and broke. I cannot find a hole to attempt to put it back in. I am really irritated that it isn’t better made. Read more

So as a TLDR I'd definitely recommend getting a different product. My first issue is the rod that goes through the "hood" part of the bed. It doesn't actually hold it open and just creates issues if you try and wash it, so I removed mine and sewed it back shut. The biggest issue however is the inner pad. It's an incredibly thin polyester that surrounds a cotton ball like filling. Obviously I never washed the inner padding, but just from my dog laying on it, it developed a massive hole after only 3 months. My dog has 4 other beds, many of which are close to 2 years old, and none of them have this issue. So I tried flipping the pad to see if that would help it last, but I just removed the cover today and now both sides have massive holes, causing the stuffing to spill out into the cover. So I reached out to Amazon support because the bed has a year warranty. The 1st rep said it was outside of the 1 month return policy, then asked me to send them a copy of the warranty (it's right there on the product page). Then they transferred me to someone else who said I could return it for a refund, but they couldn't replace the product. But I didn't want to do this because at that point I'd spent an hour in the chat, and the product costs more today than when I bought it initially. Ended up getting a "promotional credit" to avoid the hassle of returning it. So for this price I'd definitely recommend staying away. I'd either get the name brand version (cozy cave) of this since those seem to last, or get a normal bed for 30 less from a certain warehouse store that starts with C. Read more
