We love this coffeemaker because it is simple to use and it’s fast! After a couple of months, the lights have started to flash. We have descaled it by running vinegar water through it, but it still flashing. The machine still works great! Any ideas to help are welcome. Read more

This has to be the worst design for a coffee pot I have ever seen. CONS: 1. While the water comes out the front, the displays and buttons are on the right. So you have to pull it out every time you want to use it and fill it with water. Difficult with limited counter space. 2. Using it is not intuitive. It took me a while to figure it out. You have to put the KCUP in first, shut the top and then you can pick capsule and the desired amount. I found the 10 oz to work best for a regular size mug and two of those for large travel mug. 3. When it's done the lights don't turn off. And if you do things in the wrong order, the lights won't turn off ever! Even when you unplug it. We had to take out the Kcup and start all over again. 4. The water capacity is small - but I did know that. PROS: I don't drink coffee but my husband said it's fine. My advice - don't buy it. I returned and reordered the same off brand I purchased before - the motor finally died on that one. But it's easy to use so went with what I know. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Update:12/29/25 I own 2 of these machines. After 1 year the machine I bought for my mother Just started having issues. Wouldn't brew coffee anymore just spit steam & hot water through the exit hole. I took it apart and found the issue. The pin hole needle gets clogged if you use not so great filtered water. Ended up cleaning it with a paper clip & a medicine syringe with a piece of tubing. Make sure you use good filtered water and clean it regularly with a descaler or white vinegar. My personal unit has been flawless for over 2.5 years now, but I only use filtered purified water and clean it every month with a descaler solution or white vinegar. This is a great coffee maker. It's like the best of both worlds. I can make k pods & also have ground coffee if I want. No more wasting coffee & water on a big pot of coffee that doesn't get used. Now I only brew what I want when I want it and it's super fast. My only regret was not ever getting one of these sooner. I plan on getting another one of these for my mother come Christmas time. The media could not be loaded. I only used this for 2 weeks; not knowing its long-term durability it only got it 4 stars. It does appear durable enough, came on time and was well packed. The multi-language manual is good, the machine is simple to operate. I do not know if I will ever use the ground coffee "feature"., It was not a deciding factor. It makes only one cup, but that cup can be up to 14 oz. Three minor annoyances: 1) if you are holding a cup of water, to fill the reservoir, in one hand removing the reservoir cover can be difficult 2) the cover can fall into the reservoir if it slips out of your hand 3) the top of the machine slopes, so you cannot place the cover on it while pouring the water into the reservoir. If you need only a simple one K-cup coffee brewer this will do the job at a reasonable price. My only concern is how long any "reasonable price" machine will last. Then again, how long do unreasonable price machines last? Only time will tell, 6 month Update: the machine failed to automatically turn off after brewing. Coffee brewing was not affected but having to unplug and replug the machine is an annoyance. Amazon did refund the cost and paid return shipping, Read more

I've been using this brewer for about a week now. It works well and brews quickly. I just wish the reservoir was larger. I just fill my mug with water and pour in the reservoir before I make each cup, so that really isn't an issue. You need to reset the cup size each time you turn it on, which is not a big deal. The brew temperature is fine for drinking right away. If you don't plan to drink the whole cup right away, I would put it into a thermal mug of some kind to keep it warm longer. That's really my only complaint. I haven't used the insert for regular ground coffee yet, so I don't know how that works. I would recommend pushing a new K cup down on the bottom needle before closing the lid. You will notice the foil cover go "limp". Since the housing is stronger than the foil cover, just closing the cover lets the top needle puncture the softer foil cover first. Then, when the bottom needle punctures the housing, it can force small flecks of coffee back into the top nozzle. I've read that is the most common reason for Keurig machine failures. UPDATE: After I wrote the above, my Brewer started making smaller cups than I selected. I noticed that the tank cover wasn't quite flush with the main housing. I pushed it down firmly so that it was flush, and it made the selected cup size. Read more

I really enjoy this machine. It reminds me of a Farberware brand that I had a while back. Going through some of the reviews, a few issues that some people mentioned, I experienced with my old coffee maker. If you happen to not get the correct amount of water (too little) when you brew, there is a little screen under the water container. Just look into that little hole where it "plugs" into. I used to have to clean the other one regularly. I've had no problems since using filtered water but that screen can get blocked using faucet water. I used to have to clean the other one regularly. Another issue, The K Cup not getting punctured properly. That's happened to me on different brands so I always manually push the K Cup onto the bottom needle before I close the lid. Works pretty good for me. Longevity remains to be seem. The Farberware one didn't last very long. If this one doesn't, the price is right and I'll get another. This model brews very fast. Huge plus. Easy to use and it fits my travel mug. One thing I am doing is unplugging it as recommended when I'm finished with it for the day. Zero complaints so far. Read more
