It's getting a 5 star. Not because it's 5 star quality, like you'd expect from Sennheiser or Bose, but because it's surprisingly good quality relative to the price point. For $10, you expect some hollow, crackling, gas station-level trash earbuds, but what you get with these is somewhere in the range of early skull candies that you would get for $15-20 over 10 years ago. These are a good set of very basic headphones. The sound is good. They're comfy and they fit well (with extra tips for different ear sizes.) If you're bargain shopping for headphones, I don't expect that you're looking for crazy features or amazing quality, and as such, I suspect that these will meet your expectations without issue. These work very well and deliver good sound. I use them at the gym and they block out the surrounding noise very well so I can hear the tv. Very happy with them. Read more
Honestly, when I bought these I wasn't expecting much. I just needed a pair for a brief period of time while I worked on getting a genuine headset. But I've had these things for about a year now and I'm happy (and mostly surprised) to say that they still work. I'm no audio connoisseur or anything- but based on my knowledge of having had a great many wired earbuds over the span of my life, I can say that these are actually pretty decent. The sound quality is good and has remained such. The microphone quality is not the greatest but you'll definitely be audible (and it has also continued to work). And most important of all in my opinion; the earbud jack, and the part of the cable that connects to the earbud/mic itself, has remained strong and intact. Which, if you've ever had earbuds, chances are you know the feeling of having to practically crack the DaVinci Code moving the wire every time you want to get audio in both ears. But with these, I've never had that problem in the entirety of owning them. So TDLR: if you're looking for pretty cheap headphones, want them to last a long time, and don't really care about audio quality either way; these are a great pair to purchase. But also a bit of a heads-up; the wire itself is a bit flimsy, so do be careful with it. Otherwise you should be good! EDIT: Just my luck, a few weeks after I wrote this review, the headphones finally gave out. Left side only works if I hold the wire at a very specific angle, and right side gave out completely. Overall though, they lasted a little over a year total (with my heavy use and terrible treatment of the things), so really still worth getting if you need a decent pair of earbuds for a low cost. As of today, these are fantastic for the price. Probably the best cheap earbuds you can buy at 10$ price range. Sizes were good for me. They are mostly comfortable. Block sounds well. Clear audio. Had to click “headphones” prompt when plugged into iPhone. Will update In a month if issues occur. Read more
They work, kind of. After once or twice a week use for 5 months, the audio distorts even at regular or low volumes. Unfortunately a clear case of getting what you pay for. Read more
Great quality and super comfortable! They’re amazing for the price. I bought some from a different brand that were more expensive than these. The sound was horrible and the hard plastic hurt my eardrums. Within 6 days they were glitching and didn’t work anymore. That made me appreciate the sound quality and comfort of these earbuds even more. You don’t have to wiggle the cable to fix the sound or anything. I’m very happy with this purchase, and they work great for zoom calls because they have a microphone included. Read more
In this world of wireless accessories, some folks just want a traditional wired headphone. They can be hard to find in store because they’re not as in high demand, and phones don’t even have a headphone jack anymore. My dad has a habit of watching videos on his phone at a volume my mom deems unacceptable, so these were a perfect gift for him. He likes the a lot and says the sound quality is great. They work with his iPhone and fit perfectly comfortable in his ears. For the price it was well worth my mom’s peace of mind and dad is happily watching his videos on whatever volume he desires. Much easier to keep up with for him than a tiny case and two tiny ear buds. He can wrap these around his phone and find them easily. A win win! Read more
I rarely use earbuds, but there are definitely times when they come in handy, and there is NO WAY I am putting bluetooth inside my head. In upgrading my phone, I am forced to get a USB-C set of ear buds and these ones worked fine and until they didn't. So with minimal use in 10months they crapped out during a call. The value for the money is I guess reasonable, since it essentially cost me about a $1/mo to use and they did work well when they worked. The ear buds were comfortable and came with three different sized bud covers. The sound quality was great until they stopped working. Read more
