First of all, these are very comfortable. They fit right into your ear and are very soft. I often fall asleep with them on. The noise cancellation is pretty good. If I fall asleep with them on, I don’t hear my husband get up in the morning. He is not quiet and I always hear him when he gets up. The sound quality is moderate. But let’s face it. You get what you pay for. I mostly use these for audio books before I go to sleep, so the sound quality is not so important to me. I bought them for comfort and that’s what they provide. The cord is really nice and long, very pliable, and very thin. This was a really nice thing at first. Until one night the cord got folded over. No more sound. The thin little wire broke. Good thing I had bought two. I am trying to be more careful with the second pair. The earbuds were delivered quickly and packaged nicely. Bottom Line: Very comfortable, nice long cord, good enough sound quality for audiobooks. But...flimsy cord-easy to break, moderate sound quality-if you have to hear all the tones in your music, and you usually listen to Bose, you will be disappointed. I like these enough to buy them again. As long as I take care of them, they last a good while. And if they break, they are inexpensive enough, I can replace them. These are the most comfortable in-ear noise canceling headphones I've ever had. They don't stick out further than my ears, and are very soft, so I am able to wear them to sleep. I like to drown out my boyfriend's snoring by listening to podcasts at night. They are perfect for this. They don't seem to seal quite as firmly as other brands I've used, so they may not be great for air travel or high volume background noise. So these little guys get 5 stars. They got here in two days using the prime shipping, also I got them on sale as a lightning deal so another bump in the rating for saving me money and getting them here quick. They are comfortable and although I was skeptical are perfect if your a side sleeper like me who likes music while going to bed. Laying on my ear with them in was completely comfortable. Almost gave four stars because the audio quality isn't on par with more quality constructed audiophile devices but for the price and purpose of these bad boys I'm completely content. I have bought sooooooooo many headphones/earbuds. They had problems... Either they hurt my ears all night or just plain did not work. I ended up with these because the pair I get from you know who came broken. Same stuff different day. So send the others back and complained as I do...I lot. I Get this June 1st. almost 7 months later they were my rock. I need dependable working headphones every night all night. They delivered. They are comfortable, and stay in place even as I toss and turn , they were perfect. …then.. After 7 months I was wrapping Christmas presents and accidently cut my headphones up, they were under a gift I was wrapping I was cutting they with the paper by mistake. thank goodness Amazon got me a new pair after 2 nights. I had to sleep with some hard plastic ear buds that I am not sure who they were designed for. I call them the "hell phones" Thank you people who made these. If you need anything let me know.. I've been using these for years for sleeping and they are still in pretty good shape. Some days they can be uncomfortable for side sleepers. It's no more noise cancelling than average headphones. Squishy and comfortable. Very unremarkable sound quality, worse than my cheapie headphones, but as I am using them mostly when sleeping this isn't a big downside. They aren't soundproof by a long shot, despite the title, but having music in my ears still helps to mute and blur the snoring of my partner so I can sleep more soundly. So for me they are working for what I bought them for. If you are hoping for good sound quality for a hypnosis program or something, I am not sure whether the sound quality or soundproofing would be adequate. Read more

These are falsely advertised as noise canceling. They do NOT block ambient sounds at all. I have to have noise cancelling headphones to block out my husbands snoring. I have had other sleeping headphones that do actually block out my husbands snoring but since I sleep with them I usually have to replace every few months because the cords can't take my tossing and turning.
