My wife really likes these earrings. They sparkle, are of good size and appear to be well made. I read the reviews, and here is what I have to say. I have a very strong magnet that I also use to test jewelry metals. The magnet attracted the dangles just a little; they did not cling to it. The magnet would not lift them. This would indicate one of two possibilities. First off, Sterling Silver, by definition, consists of 925 parts of fine silver and 75 parts of other metals, usually copper. But Zinc, Germanium and Platinum are also used for specific reasons. None of those are magnetic. So, one possibility is that they are rhodium plated. Cheap rhodium plating may utilize a thin layer of nickel (magnetic). The prize for these does not suggest rhodium plating. That leaves the other possibility that the silver contains a ferrous metal, most likely nickel, in which case it does not qualify for the nomenclature of Sterling. On the upside, I found a tiny 925 stamp on the hooks. The magnet did not attract them. That's a good thing. So much for academics. These dangle earrings really look nice. They are relatively sturdy and well executed. My wife wears them a lot. She is very happy with them. That is what really matters. I still give this product a 5 Star rating. When it comes to jewelry shopping, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. So, I generally do not buy it. My wife is the type that does not go for expensive jewelry, however, she still does wear the less expensive stuff from time to time (her argument is the money that we spend on expensive jewelry can go to expensive decorations around the house; I tend to agree.) So, this year I wanted to get her something for our anniversary but knew I needed to keep it within a reasonable price. I searched through countless Amazon pages, one being this sterling silver earring set. I decided to purchase this earring set among a few other jewelry items so that if I screwed up on one, the rest may make up for it. My wife does not like wearing gold as she doesn't like how it looks on her, so it's either white gold or sterling silver. Upon seeing these, she immediately fell in love with them. Pros: - They're beautiful. You would think that cheap jewelry would look, well, cheap. This set of earrings adorns her quite well and does not look cheap. - It comes with a nice display case. I am appalled that some jewelry arrives in a plastic bag and nothing else. If you're like me, presentation is everything, so this set having a nice box to go with them it quite nice. - The design is both trendy and elegant. Regardless of whether you're catching a movie or going to a nice dinner, these earrings fit the bill perfectly. Cons: (none that I can think of at the moment. If some crop up, I'll revise my review accordingly.) All in all, I feel this was a very good purchase and would recommend this product to anyone looking to purchase for jewelry for themselves or looking to purchase jewelry as a gift. Read more

I have worn them on occasion and they are nice, but not as long or big as I would have liked.. I kept them because they look good even though they are not that big. So if you like small dangles you will probably love these. Also the material is good. It has not faded, or bothered my ears. I have very sensitive skin. These are so beautiful and look so expensive, nobody has any clue how inexpensive they were. A friend even asked me if I bought them at the SFMOMA because she saw a pair similar to these there! And their jewelry is ALL handcrafted by the best jewely-artists in the world and go for thousands. So, THAT was big! They're elegant, they're lovely, they're feminine. And they LOOK expensive, mostly because of the unique design, but also because there aren't any flaws from casting. I've wanted these for quite a while and I'm SO happy they're finally mine. They are the absolute perfect size too. I love that I can throw them on to zhush up a casual outfit, or pair them with a cocktail or evening dress for more dressy occasions and they add that oomph. They about 2 1/4 " long with the earlier on it. Very lightweight, very comfortable, you don't know your wearing them. and very pretty on. They haven't gotten tangled in my hair at all. They haven't tarnished at all. Would highly recommend buying , very pretty. Read more

I bought these for my wife as an early Christmas present. They came better then I expected. They come in an elegant black gift box with a unexpectadly nice insert that alows them to dangle and move, which really added to the to the wow factor opening the box. They have a brilliant shine without looking fake as some silver tends to do. They have enough movement to give off a wonderful sparkle and an ever so soft chime which instantly draws your eye in, without being floppy sloppy and all over the place as others of my wifes do. These earings are have a nice thin design without looking wirey but are thick enough to really sparkel and shine without being chunky and gaughty.
