I had previously purchased some other sweats, and was delighted with them. My legs are bulky and I'm short- 5'9" and 220 pounds. So the older style of loose fit worked great, as did the elastic bottoms. Unfortunately, that supplier did not have black or gray. So I took a chance on these. Looser would be better, they're barely loose enough - but I don't feel like I'm wearing ballet tights. They are longer than I need, but the elastic bottoms makes that OK. i just bought 4 or 5 different brands of sweat pants and this one was the first to arrive. they're heavyweight, comfortable, substantial waistband, length is good- i bought a large and am 5'10, 215 lbs with a 32" inseam. my waist is probably a 36" right now but these obviously stretch. they have side pockets for your hands and also 2 back pockets, tho i doubt i'll use those and they were probably not necessary, imo. most sweat pants don't seem to have back pockets. the navy blue color looks good. i wish they had grey and/or dark/heather grey, aswell. i'm shocked they don't since that seems to be the most popular color for sweats. i'll have to see how they hold up after a few washes. if my opinion changes, i'll report back but so far, so good. seems to be a good purchase for the $12 i got them for. EDIT: i do need to add that there have been a lot of "fuzzies" from the inside of the sweats that i've found on the floor, which is annoying. i'm hoping after washing and drying them, that this won't be a problem. i'll revise this if it persists.
