SO SOFT, AND SO WARM. The large fits well, but doesn't leave much extra room underneath. I feel like a t-shirt underneath is about it for under layers. Fabric seems stitched well. I've bought three of these, and stole one from my husband, I like them so much. So they work for ladies just as well as men. They are soft fabric on the outside, thick layered, and warm. The wrists are nice and soft, too. They are not a thin hoodie, but the kind of hoodie that will actually keep you warm and dry on a cold, damp day, but just as wearable around the house. They have good sized pockets that fit my wallet, keys, and phone. I wear mine everywhere, from out to town or working in the chicken coop. They feel like they will wash up pretty well. The hood strings are capped with metal so they won't fray and they lay nicely. I got mine at an unbelievably great price during a sale and I wish I'd bought more in more.
