Great deal for yummy okra
A fantastic deal for several meals of okra sides. I lace them with olive oil, salt and pepper right out of the freezer, pop them in the broiler, and I’ve got yummy, crispy okra in under a quarter of an hour. Oh, yes. Read more
Good quality/Small quantity
Good stuff if you like okra, as many don't. The quantity is small though. This works well for me between trips to the fruit market where I can purchase tons for less, chop it up and put it in the freezer for future use. Okra goes bad quickly, so it's great for having somebon hand at all times, as I do love my okra. Read more

A rare frozen veggie that's as good, maybe better than fresh.
I'm not a frozen veggie guy. Fresh are better, but Okra might be the exception. Frozen Okra is da bomb, and Amazon's product is fairly priced and mostly very good. I think I got a woody one once. Okra, if not picked fresh, gets a bark-like consistency, but as I said, those are rare, and overall, I love this product. It's super convenient and I'll keep buying more. Goes great in all kinds of stews and I even use it in chili. Not traditional, but it works just fine. Seems to go well with anything tomato or beef base. Read more
