Real bacon
This is real bacon. I’ve bought bacon from Safeway and Giant and Walmart and they are all paper thin and gray in color. Here is the bacon from Walmart compared to this bacon. It is much thicker and a night and day difference in flavor. Read more

Not salty but also not thick cut
These are not as thick cut as I expected. I'm used to the Smithyfield ones as those are the ones my local market carries and I like the thickness. These however were not as thick and seemed regular cut to me. The taste is pretty good though, not as salty as other brands of bacon and I got a pack that was very little fat, which is what I wanted. This is probably healthier than Smithyfield though, since it's less salty. Read more
