I LOVE my kindle! The paper like screen is easy to read day or night! The battery stays above 10% for what feels like forever. Its very durable, as a 911 EMT I can attest to it being dropped/hit/almost crushed, and not a scratch. Its also compact enough to fit in my back pocket of jeans or my side pocket of my work pants. One of my favorite things I’ve ever purchased on Amazon! The battery lasts FOREVER. In the 6 months that I’ve owned it I think I’ve needed to charge it at most 3-4 times despite using it for 1-2 hours a day. The customizable features for the device itself (night mode, dark mode, font size, on-device dictionary, etc.) genuinely make it feel like a luxury item if you’re an avid reader, especially when compared to reading anything on a phone or tablet. The “front light” system is very gentle on the eyes even when reading in pure darkness, and the anti-glare feature is an absolute game-changer for me. Regardless of the setting I’m reading in, it’s like the screen always looks the same in terms of lighting and I never feel eye-strain. It’s so easy to use and the size is perfect. It easily fits in one hand, and being able to turn the page with a double tap to the back of the device is a great addition. Overall, it feels like Amazon asked as many people as they could who love to read exactly what they’d want in an e-reader. This is the case that others should be measured against. The cloth is actual cloth instead of just a texture embossed into rubberized plastic/vinyl. The inside is actually soft microfiber (though it’s distinctly less plush than previous generations of official cases). It’s thin and not bulky at all, even when compared to other cases that claim to not be bulky. They are when put next to this. This case is the best one available. Material is fraying along the front edges after 10 months. Love the color, light weight, texture of material, secure fit of the new Kindle Paperwhite in the cover, and the soft inside that protects the screen. I read books on Kindle every day. I carry the Kindle in different purses, but it is usually in my hand or sitting on a table in the house, so it is surprising that the edges of the front cover are fraying so quickly. The top and the back bottom side (bordered by plastic) are also starting to fray. I do not think I would buy it again, but will see if I can find a more durable cover. Read more

Purchased for my son. The quality is very good. Unfortunately, my son did not like the "rough" clothe texture. For most people not a problem, but my son had issues with the feel. Amazon took care of me and accepted the return. In its place, I purchased the leather version of this cover, which my son is happy with. But I think this cover is still good value for the money. I honestly love this case. It's easy to put on and get off, and it fits really well. It's very light, true to the name. My favorite part about it is that it closes, which turns the Kindle off. It automatically turns on once you open it up, too. My only recommendation would be to wait until it's on sale - I bought this for about 33USD, and for such a light and relatively simplistic case, I don't think it's worth the 36USD they're selling it for.
