After having this for six months, a review felt deserved. I use this regularly and am really pleased with it. The lowest light setting is enough to read by (for me), and it doesn't bother my partner who often falls asleep before me. I find it easier to fall asleep compared to using my bedside lamp. The neck is super flexible, but will hold exactly where you place it. A good size, though it can be a little heavy on shorter paperbacks - just make sure to clip enough pages. The grip has never damaged any book, which is great because I almost exclusively am borrowing from the library. Battery lasts a long time and I have had no trouble with it charging. I bought this amber light and immediately loved the color. The glow feels very similar to a candle being lit — warm, calm, and extremely relaxing. It creates a cozy atmosphere without any harshness, and there is no visible blue light, which I really appreciate for evening use. For nightstands, small corners, or bedside use, this light is lovely. That said, I noticed one limitation in my own use: when I want the entire room to be filled with amber light rather than just a local glow, the brightness is a bit limited. For those situations, I personally prefer using a larger spherical amber light (Evoball), which is noticeably brighter (roughly several times brighter in my setup) and offers extra features like: timer and delayed shutoff optional 40 Hz flicker mode still no blue light Both products have their place. This one is excellent if you want a candle-like, intimate amber glow. If your goal is to illuminate a whole room with amber light, a higher-output solution may be more suitable.
