My pictures don’t rlly do it justice because I’m laying on my bed across the room. The whole lamp glows equally (it doesn’t have the look it does in the photos where you can see the brightness of the bulb in the middle sorry it’s my crappy camera haha) The one heads up I’d give is that the shade clicks on to the metal circle around the bulb and then the sides are held together with Velcro. However it looks surprisingly clean and nice. Comes with a dimmer bulb that my roommate fell in love with so fast she stole it lolol so unfortunately it’s not featured in the photos 😂 but it’s very nice quality! Also it has a SUPER sturdy base. Very easy to put together (like absurdly easy haha). Like I said It might not look as good as it is in my photos but I’m sick today and I’ve been needing a new lamp for maybe … 6 months no lie lol. The shade of my old lamp was held on by ductape and tears. Long story short I’ve been sick in this room for days and realized I get out of bed more to fix the darn thing than for anything else 😂 so I searched lamp and same day delivery and for 26 bucks this lamp is great. As a side note I really love that it can do mood lighting perfectly but also light the whole room. The shade doesn’t keep too much light in which is nice. I have lights that can change color and brightness and they help me sleep. So when I put them to 1% I want to see the color a little. This is perfect. I took a bunch of pictures for an example. I needed a floor lamp for a small space in my apt and this one is perfect! I decided to get another one for my bedroom. Very easy to assemble. Great quality and sturdy. Comes with a bright white lightbulb but I prefer soft/ warm white so I sadly, threw away. Read more
This is a very minimalistic and easy to assemble lamp. That being said the lamp shade is rolled backwards and as previously noted it makes it a little hard with just two hands but nothing impossible to handle. The lamp comes with a great, bright, 9w LED bulb which was too bright for me. It says it has a 3-way setting but the switch itself isn’t 3-way as confirmed by just trying it out with a 3-way bulb. I am a little disappointed by that as it’s kind of why I purchased it but, whatever, it gave me more desk space not having a lamp on it anymore. The pull chain makes it easy to turn on and off and on an uneven carpet the hefty base holds its own standing upright. Overall a good lamp. Dinged a star because it’s not 3-way as expected. Read more
I don't usually post reviews of my purchases, but I'm making an exception for Ambimall Floor Lamp. I had been wanting a similarly looking floor lamp at Pottery Barn, but it is not in stock right now. After browsing at Amazon, I found this pole lamp for just a fraction of the cost. Given its great reviews and its unbelievable price, I decided to purchase it, not really expecting much in terms of the lamp's quality, sturdiness, and ease of assembly. Delivery was super fast as I received it 5 hours after placing my order. The lamp's packaging was excellent- it was in a small box and the lamp's parts were well-protected and secured in styrofoam and plastic covers. There was an instruction sheet included. But, assembling it was very easy and straightforward and took me less than 10 minutes. The lamp shade was cream colored and came flat, requiring careful rolling to get the edges velcroed straight. The on/off switch was a foot switch, which I prefer. While it is not dimmable, this pole lamp has plenty of pluses- it is very sturdy, has a small footprint, easy to assemble, and looks expensive. It provides a minimalist and modern look especially in tight or small spaces. Ambimall Floor Lamp definitely exceeded my expectations! I'm so glad I purchased it. Bought this as an inexpensive solution for a room that only had an overhead light. Assembly is easy until you get to the shade portion of the fixture, which has got to be the most annoying, stupidly-designed thing I've ever encountered. The shade comes rolled up in the OPPOSITE direction from what you will need it to be, so keeping it unrolled is impossible. Then, you have to clip the shade to two, metal rings and fasten it to itself with velcro. I'm curious as to how long that will hold, btw. The 3 color light mode is over-the-top annoying and the heavy ball at the end of the pull chain slams against the rod, making a loud, clanging noise. On the plus side (believe it or not) it looks good. Just don't touch it, or it will wobble and clang into tomorrow. Read more
