I had no idea that a dog in heat had discharge that would make a mess all over my house! These doggie diapers have worked well for our foxhound-mix female. We tried another brand that had velcro tabs, but those apparently squeeze her around the waist in a way that makes her very uncomfortable. These pull-on ones she moves well in, and they don't fall down, which really surprised me, as our dog has slick, short fur. She has a somewhat thick tail, so I stretch the tail hole a little before putting them on her. They are very absorbent, though the only time we found that out was when she was wearing it outside and squatted to potty while still wearing it. There was no leaking, though I changed it immediately. Our dog's waist measured at 19", and the largest size fits her well. Snug enough to stay up, loose enough that she can run and curl up and walk comfortably. The sides can be torn fairly easily, if you wanted to remove it that way rather than slide it down the legs, and we have accidentally torn through two of them before we were ready to discard them, but it just takes a little care to avoid that. I will be getting out girl fixed after this round of heat, so I hope I never need these again, but these have been easy to use and acceptable to the dog, and saved all our floors and furniture from the ick. I have a senior dog and she’s having accidents almost every day. These diapers are wonderful. I tried the cloth diapers and they didn’t work well. These disposables are the best. They hold everything, her pee and poo. No more mess on my floor!! My dog weighs 11 lbs and a small fits perfectly. I would absolutely recommend these. Read more
These doggie diapers for our female Maltese are well fitting, no leak, easy to use. The dog is not bothered to wear them. Of all of the dog diapers we tried for our older dog these are by far the bet fitting and absorbent. Read more
These dog pull ups are easy to put on, fit great, stay on well. You may need to supplement with an additional pad inside to prevent leaks, but they are far superior to dog diapers with tab closures. Read more
This works so well for my 4 month old Corgi puppy (15 lbs). It does run small. I have different diapers that are size small but I saw comments about it running small and to size up. I bought mediums and they fit her. We are trying to house train her but she still has accidents and can't make it to the bell we have for her that she uses to let us know to take her outside. They don't seem uncomfortable on her. She sleeps and walks around the house with them on like it's not there. In the 2 months I've had her, she's grown double in size so I'll need to up the size soon to large which is weird for a smallish puppy. Overall I like these as they absorb a lot of urine. I wanted to like these pull up disposable diapers, but they are a fail. I didn’t realize that at first until I found the big giant wet spot on my bed as I was about to turn in for the night. Completely soaked through my entire bedding where my dog was napping in her new diaper. Yes the diaper was wet earlier after she woke up. But I did not realize that it had leaked through the diaper as well. This is a first. Never happened with my previous diapers (tabbed not pull up). Upon further inspection as she’s laying down wearing them, I realize they gap open on the sides. This explains how the pee came flowing out like a faucet. . This is a size small, which is almost too small for her. So it’s not because they’re too big. So, I would not buy these again . Also as a pull up they’re difficult to get the tail through if you have a dog that has a long tail, which most do. Trying to manipulate the tail through after you get both the legs in and pulled halfway up the leg(easiest safest way to insert the tail instead of pulling the diaper all the way on to force the tail to unnaturally bend to go through the hole) , you risk breaking your poor dogs tail without even realizing it. So please be careful with this if you are using pull-up diapers, especially since there’s no open sides to manipulate getting the tail through the diaper hole. I am sticking with the tabbed disposables for now on. You can adjust the sides on that kind so they don’t gap and leak like this pull up did. Read more
They fit well, using the size chart in the item listing. They pull on relatively easily. Best of all they stay on. I was not optimistic we could find one that works so well for a female dog, but these are great. Read more
