This was my third attempt to find a memory foam topper or mattress that could stand up to abuse. And I hit the jackpot. I'm 6'3 299lbs. And this topper is topper is able to stand up to that. And actually it's taken more than that. I've lost 35 lbs in about three months. So it started out with about 335 pounds on it at the beginning. I could tell from the time I opened it to let it air out that this was a different kind of topper. It has a better feel than the cheaper less dense toppers. Don't underestimate the density. In the past. I haven't paid enough attention to that. And I wound up dissatisfied. Those density numbers mean a lot. Especially when you're above the average weight for your height. This 4-pound foam seems to be working for me. But you may need five pounds. But be aware the heavier the density. The less you're going to sink into it. On this four formula. I get just the right amount of support and comfort to let me get a good night sleep. Without any sore spots when I way up in the morning. I let mine set on the floor in an out of the way space for four days (96 hours). Just like the packaging suggests. And I had excellent results from the git go. I would recommend DreamDNA to anyone. Oct 2015 Update I had a small problem with my topper that I mentioned in my warranty registration. Just to have it on the record. Within ten days, Memory Foam sent me a new topper. I feel this is above and beyond. Very unusual in this age of companies that have customer service departments that just swallow up complaints. If you buy this product. You can be sure they stand behind it. I will recommend to friends and family. Read more

Comfortable but definitely not 4 lb density as it claims.Keeping because it would be impossible to ship back. Don't know how I would ever fit it back in a box. Does have a slight chemical odor but not anywhere near as bad as some and again not so strong I would send it back. Would definitely let it air out for 2 days if possible. That seemed to reduce the smell a lot. Arrived undamaged, and fit perfectly on our queen bed. I am rating this 2 stars based solely on the fact that it is definitely not 4lb density and that is what I needed. Still not a bad price but if you want the high density look elsewhere. Read more

Material is usually hard upon initially getting into bed, but softens fairly quick once it warms up. Wife says there's still a bit of a smell, but I don't smell anything at all even after 3 weeks, I didn't smell anything except upon unpacking, and my sense of smell is pretty keen. This doesn't "auto expand" upon cutting open the plastic. You have to REALLY fight it to unfold it, unless you live in an unusually warm climate.. It was about 68 degrees in the house and after 4 hours from removing the plastic, it was still a very hard, very solid lump in the shape of the bag. I had to very forcibly stretch and flatten it to the best of my ability before it started to adjust to it's form. This was no easy thing either... it was VERY resistant to being unfolded. This makes out brand new Sealy 'Ultra Firm" mattress into a bearable sleep system. Read more

Contrary to the many 5 Star Reviews I cannot rate this mattress topper the same. The topper was purchased to use on an RV bed. With the claims made by the seller and the review ratings by the customers, I chose this topper thinking it would be a good choice for sleeping on since I have a lumbar back issue. My husband, (with no back issues) and I could barely tolerate the 3 nights of use---it really caused a lot of pain. The topper developed a 12" tear at one end after using it only 3 times. Now! - that is a lot of money to pay for nothing. It is virtually impossible to attempt to return. It is too heavy and bulky to handle and very difficult to fit in a return box, plus paying return shipping charges. Now this is some deal!!! Read more

After researching a lot of memory foam toppers I finally decided on trying this one with the 4lb density and relatively good reviews. I had read a few reviews of this product that mentioned the odor and how easy it was tear so I was careful in setting it up. It recommends you air it out a few days before using it. I laid it on the floor in our home theater with a small fan blowing on it for 3 days, then flipped it over and had a fan blow on the other side for 3 days (we were going out of town for the weekend so it wasn't a big deal waiting that long). It is pretty heavy so I was careful to roll it up and carry it gently to make sure it doesn't rip. I didn't have any problems with it ripping although a few other reviewers did. Once we got it on our bed it had a slight odor for a few days but nothing terrible. It seems to be gone now. I'm really impressed with the comfort. It is pretty squishy. I'm glad we got the 4lb density. I have an artificial hip so was looking at relieving some of the pressure when side sleeping. It seems to be much better than our previous matress. Read more
