These do a simple job, but do it well. I liked the small size, the day/light sensor being in the middle front is very nice. THe LED lights form a nice orderly square with rounded corners and put out a nice amount of light, but not too much. The quality seems good and consistent. No detectable heat was detected after being on for prolonged period of time. I put these on the bottom portion of every outlet in my finished basement and it provides a great amount of light for the casual trip down there to get something, while removing the creepy dark basement factor by making the space always accessible and saves turning on the lights when I only needed to grab something real quick. I also think for guests, having some light in the middle of the night will be very nice and make finding the bathroom easier. These are a great value for the money and while I have others that are similar, these are my favorite to date because of the size, low energy use and sensor being front and center with cool square led lights. I really like these lights. I was still using the old style night lights (pictured) because, when the LED night lights first came out, they looked tube-like and had a very clinical color temperature. Years later, I decided to try again and these LED night lights have come a long way. The temperature of these lights look really nice at night. Just one lights up the whole hallway. The low profile of the light takes up less space. The quality is much better in that the sensor of these lights don't flicker as it slowly gets dark. I put one in the bathroom. The old nightlight was always on unless the sun was shining. The new light knows the difference between daytime and nighttime. No more searching for tiny bulbs. I threw all the old ones away and replaced them with these lights. Read more
