These LED light bulbs are wonderful! They turn on in the evening and off in the morning. So, neighbors don't know when I'm home or not and when I come home in the evening, my lights are on so that I don't have to stumble in the dark in order to reach my front door THIS IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT BECAUSE I LIVE IN THE MOUNTAINS WHERE WE DON'T HAVE STREET LIGHTS AND THE AREA IS PITCH DARK! I ALSO KEEP A LIGHT ON IN MY KITCHEN AREA WHERE I HAVE A SKY LIGHT. THE WINDOW CAN BE SEEN FROM OUTSIDE. SO, HAVING THIS LIGHT TURN ON HELPS NEIGHBORS THINK THAT I'M HOME. These work well, simple as that. The dawn/dusk sensor works, and the frequency of light doesnt attract bugs. The only issue is that they are just so ugly. Even when off, they have that yellow plastic cover. I wish they looked more like a normal light bulb. If you have a fixture with a cover that doesnt show the bulb itself, thats the best case scenario. The light color itself is quite ugly as well, though. The yellow color doesnt really feel like warm white. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it or not. Read more
I have these in my porch lights as well as two lamps inside. I set them before I leave each morning so I come home to a well lit house. It also ensures my pets have a light on when it gets dark so early in winter. This saves on electricity so I don't leave lamps burning when no one is home. Totally worth it! They are well made and easy to install as any other bulb. Read more
