A friend has a JVC portable Bluetooth music speaker, but it just bounces around in a golf cart or sets on the sand at the beach. No good. This speaker is really easy to use and makes a strong connection by clamping onto the window frame, much better than the magnetic kind which often fall off when you hit a rough bump. It is also easy to adjust to aim music that works best for you, versus it being louder on one side like some fixed speakers that can't be adjusted for direction. The power and volume buttons are also big enough to easily use while driving/bouncing a cart as well. The sound is pretty good but would be better if you had two speakers linked, which it can do, but that's overkill for my needs. Keeping sound low enough so it doesn't bother other golfers is best, so no need for two speakers as one works well enough. It will also be great for the beach as it can clamps onto a beach chair, keeping it out of the sand. Nice buy and good value for the money. Bought the v3 and I'd have to say that it's the best speaker for glf that I've ever owned (have had many prior). The clip and mount are as sturdy as they come, sound quality is great (purchased 2 for stereo sound), battery life at high volume lasts multiple rounds and the fact that you can change the direction of the sound is perfect for when you are on a tee box that's next to another green or vise versa. Having the controls on the speaker to mute, change volume and skip songs eliminates the need for me to have my phone handy. The fact that you can use this for literally anything you can clip it on makes it the most versatile speaker on the market. I dont think I'd ever purchase anything else ever again. Wow! Super impressed! I bought this speaker as a gift for my boyfriend who is an avid golfer. He loves to listen to music while cruising around in the golf cart, but usually just uses his phone. So I thought this would be a nice addition to his golf accessories, and it had great reviews, so I went for it. But it has far exceeded my expectations! This little speaker packs a Big Bang for your buck! The sound quality is great, you can crank it up without the sound being distorted, it has some serious bass for a little speaker, and is very well made! Doesn’t look or feel cheap at all, I am truly impressed. Great to take to the beach too, since you can clamp it right to your umbrella pole. I'm a music lover who owns more bluetooth speakers than I'd like to admit, but this speaker caught my eye due to its mounting bracket, thus freeing up a valuable cup holder. The mount is sturdy and easy to connect, sound quality and volume are plenty good for a golf cart and i've completed 3 full rounds without the need to recharge. I have two minor recommendations to improve this sweet speaker - 1) have a 2nd mounting point on the opposite side side of the speaker so it can be flipped over. I prefer to mount the speaker on the inside of the bar vs hanging off the side of the cart and doing so makes the control buttons inaccessible. Yes, it can be installed upside down with the mount arm on top but that doesn't seem to provide as much support. 2) improve the mounting system. The speaker attaches to the mounting arm with a plenty big bolt but I've found with a bit of swiveling during the round the bolt can come loose. It hasn't been near enough to completely fall out but the speaker has flopped around a bit. I'm going to try to add a lock washer to see if that helps, if not I'll maybe try a longer bolt with a spring to try to keep some tension on it. Otherwise this is a great golf speaker and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again! Read more

We do not leave our house without taking this speaker with us. We've used it for golf, rides around the neighborhood, on the boat, or in the back yard hanging out with friends. I wanted a small bluetooth speaker that I could take out and about with me on the boat, in the back yard, on the golf course, etc. This is perfect. The adjustable clamp allows me to fasten it to many things--patio umbrella pole, golf cart canapy, greenhouse door, lawn chair, boat dock or deck railing, or I can stick it in a backpack and take it with me on foot. I am impressed with the range of this bluetooth device. I was in my house and someone called on my phone for my husband. I went out of the house, past the swimming pool, down the sidewalk through the back yard and onto our boat dock to let him take the call. When I got done and went back in the house, the speaker had never lost its connection to the phone. It's perfect if you take it out on a golf cart and have your phone on your person but the speaker is affixed to the cart. For a small portable speaker, I find that the sound is above average. It's got a base speaker in it which makes a difference. I am really enjoying this speaker. We have much bigger, better speakers around the house, but I find this one works so well for just me, no fuss, easy to use. I love it. Read more

Great bang for the buck so far. I use this on my Polaris LSV to have music while on the move and working in the field. Makes a great "loudspeaker" for my phone, and BT setup was easy. It's been in the rain with no ill effects, and seems to be good quality so far. I typically bring it inside at the end of the week to recharge. Battery doesn't last terribly long, but I'd rather have to charge it more often than it be bulkier. Read more
