Great for golf carts! I'm very pleased with this device it's very robust. It holds the phone in tight, has extra protection, with bungees in the corner, even though you don't need it with the clamps. My only downfall is the tightening adjustment ball seems a bit flimsy but we'll see over time. I've done a lot of research this is a good one for clamping on the windshield. Enjoy Read more

I recently purchased this iPhone holder for my golf pull cart, and I couldn’t be happier! It’s a game-changer for keeping my phone secure and easily accessible during rounds. Mine is mounted on the handlebar of my Rovic disc golf cart, requiring only two adjustments: the screw clamp that holds it on the cart, and the ball joint that lets me adjust the angle. At first I was annoyed at how hard it was to stretch the four rubber loops over the corners of my phone, but eventually I figured out that it was so tight because I kept my phone in a protective case. The case is relatively soft plastic, with good friction, so all I have to do is spread the side clamps to hold the phone, and they lock it in solid. I leave the corner loops untouched behind the phone. Make sure the phone is mounted so those clamps don't press any of the side buttons, and you're set. I use a phone app for keeping score, and the Ampcaddy does not interfere in any way. If I want to take a photo (like the eagle that watched me on the 5th tee Wednesday), I just spread the clamp to release the phone. The springs in the clamp are pretty tight, but that's what you want. I think that if my cart tipped over, the phone would stay put. Haven't experimented with that, but it feels that solid. Read more

This is ideal if you need to add and remove to the cart in 5 seconds. The claw type grip secures strong in a few turns and can attach to golf cart frame or steering wheel basically anything. The bonus is I have not had to use the stretch rubber straps that you see to pull around the corners of the phone.. the side clamps hold the phone firm and it has not fallen out this makes it easy to remove the phone mid round for text, calls, removing phone from cart to go indoors etc. Seems quality built as well may last several seasons if I don't lose it Read more
This phone holder held my iPhone 16 securely the entire round so that I was able to golf and have football in our cart. The knock on this is that the brackets that secure the phone on the side press the iPhone 16 buttons, so you have to screw around with dismissing alerts as you are installing your phone in this bracket. Additionally, the bands that wrap around the corners of the phone are too tight. I only used 2 of the 4 bands. This bracket wasn’t as easy to use as i would have liked, which is why I am giving It 3 stars. If I had to do It all over again, I would have spent a little more money and bought something that clamps from the top and bottom of the phone rather than clamp from the sides. Read more
